Crysis looks surprisingly impressive on Switch. Has anyone played the new Animal Crossing? Is it any fun long-term?I've read mixed reviews about it being too heavy on crafting, others say it's the best in the series. I enjoyed the original on Gamecube and the 3DS Leaf was fun too. Although got to be a bit boring. What has my interest are these monthly updates that seem to give some freshness to the game?
It's dropped off my game activity list and i'm not changing carts to find out, but I had something like 80 hours or so in it, which was main game, plus dlc, then like 10 hours of starting again. Main game depends very much on how much you explore the game, and i'm not talking about getting every tiny collectible (something like 400 of them)
I played it on my first switch and again on my updated one, purchased the game twice, best game i ever played, when i was halfways through my first playthrough i kept catching myself asking how could this ever be beaten?
I've been playing it for a week. Very impressed by how well made the game is. Nintendo really have come a long way. They could build on the mini games you find with a sequel.
Well it is official now. Mario 64,Super Mario Sunshine are getting a Switch Release. Stated for September 18th. Plus Super Mario 3d World + Bowser Fury is announced. One cool thing is the Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. https://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/d...-bros-with-games-products-and-in-game-events/
and while we were all looking at the latest graphics cards, cpus and next-gen consoles; Nintendo throws a spanner in the works... I didn't think I'd care about streaming, but, these announcements made me see it in a different light. Also, what if MS succeed in cutting a deal with Nintendo for Xbox Game Pass streaming? Hmm...
I'm not interested in Nintendo until they become the biggest most highly desirable 3rd part dev of 2031. Gimme your games in max settings+>4k and quite hiding behind your "talent" and "unity for Japan".
Soon as the Pro arrives i'll buy it, had the original and the updated version with better color. Been watching some botw vids i recorded at the time with an elgato, just reminds me how this game will never be beaten imo. Actually many years from now when Nintendo is full on VR the zelda they make then may beat it. The switch pro controller is my fav of all time too. It's my fav console tbh.
100. I was blown away by the game, I felt like they took all of the best aspects of the previous Zelda's and put it all in to BOTW. Hands down the best adventure game I've played to date
It was magical, built from the ground up with love, and through the open world went through every emotion.
Botw forced future games to be less artificially restrictive. The climbing ability really makes older open world games age rather poorly imho. Also, the draw distance in Botw is quite impressive for it's time.
