Is this a known issue with the new 5000 series cpu's ?

My 3800x worked fine, but just today I put in a 5800x and the in-game overlay stopped showing me 2 things, CPU Temp and CPU clock is completely missing from the Monitoring tab, it literally disappeared.
Interestingly I'm having similar issues with my other monitoring software like HWinfo, NZXT Cam, and Argus Monitor says my "CPU is not supported" when I click on the CPU temp tab.

Also a really strange glitch as well, now my MSI Kombustor x64 crashes every single time I try to load it up while MSI Afterburner is running. Previously with my 3800x all of these things worked perfectly normal.

The fact all these programs are affected and the only system change I made was the CPU leads me to believe it has something to do with the CPU itself, do these new 5000 series have different sensors or something ?

yes of course, they're all checked properly within the settings in the Monitoring tab.... but like I said one of them is simply missing (CPU Clock) it's very strange.
The CPU Temperature is there and checked, but doesn't show up in the overlay

These new cpus may require a reinstallation of softwares that have not been configured with this change in architecture. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. This wouldn't be unusual in this circumstances.

Curious how you did a clean reinstall (registry wiped)... I'm having an issue with my 5950x not showing the option for CPU Temp and CPU Clock in MSI Afterburner Monitoring

No, the issue remains... all I managed to do is add the hwinfo plugin that gives me back CPU Temperature, and usage but I still can't find the CPU clock anywhere

so yea it basically does not work the same way as it has for years.... something is definitely wrong, and it's not on my end... either a different sensor, or program needs update, I don't know I'm not a techie

it just comes down to what my Argus Monitor says in the CPU Temp tab....

    "Your CPU is not supported"

something with the 5000 series is new so all these various monitoring programs need to update....
none of them work properly, I've tested NZXT, Argus, Afterburner, etc.... none of their overlays work, but HwInfo64 shows me everything on the desktop program, I see the temps and usages just fine, but when it comes to OVERLAYS, I can't get them to work

Come on people, stop with the repeat questions, search first...

It is not supported yet, how do you expect a few month old beta to peek in the future and detect recently released hardware? No ETA on compatible version, it is even not in development yet."

Got the same issue here with my 5600x literally everything else can monitor my temps except for msi afterburner, i tried everything uninstalling deleting settings disabling and enabling cpu plugins and nothing will show my cpu temp with afterburner, both the overlay and tray icon won't show.

@Anthoney and you got to tell us this story, because...?
... because you didn't bother to even read the last two postings in this thread.
