Their cards are far from having sales problems. If they were afraid, they would have maximized production before AMD's announcement.
And even if they had 10% weaker GPUs and asking 10% more cash while eating more power, sales would continue. I see no reason to underestimate mindshare.

In all likelihood, it is either yields or GDDR6X supply.

Why not just do buy one get one free, or free Aston Martin with every 3080 or 3090. Just as much chance of getting those as getting any Nvidia card. Still most of us could be lucky and maybe AMD cards might actually be ok. Never had a AMD card, at the moment the motto is Never Say Never

Off course in Norway or in Sweden etc, but not in UK, I have placed two orders, one for RTX 3090 Strix OC and another for TUF, both are for customers builds, one friend literally yesterday cancelled his order for RTX 3090 and he is getting 6900XT more likely but that's depends on benchmarks

I'm moving like 10 places in queue every week and there are 650 people before me hahaha, I'll be happy if I get my RTX 3090 by end of the year hahaha

I must say you are been lucky with purchasing the RTX 3090 or 3080 mate, props to you

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Talking about the RTX 3070 lowest end card availa.. rumored to exist costs ~$550+. About 3x the amount I last paid for higher end card a few years back. I guess people are just used to being price gouged/ripped off now days and think it's normal price. You may say, but there will be a 3060, and 3050 coming. Fine. It's still 3x what they were a few years back and the 3050/60 that won't run a 6 year old game well because it will be crippled every which way (GTX 1060 3GB anyone?), will be $299, about $100 more than I used to buy a decent mid level (3070/80) card for.

    And?

So you're going off rumors but not caring what the actual GPU is? 3070 is not a low-mid range card and nothing you say or make up will change any of that, its high end, low on the high end but still high end.

And 550? Try $499, you know, the publicly available MSRP...

Seriously wtf are you going on about?

3070/80 should be mid level now? And should be $199? What make-believe world do you live in?

3 years ago the 70/80 series GPUs cost $449 and $600/700 respectively.

GTX 1060 3GB did cost $199, were you referring to that? Cause you talked about it then you talked about the 3070/80, so i am very confused.

Pricing hasn't changed all that much, and all of this is more expensive to make and do then it has been before, yes prices have come up, but they always fluctuate, it's literally the name of the game.

Does no one remember that the 8800 Ultra came out as $1000 card back in 2007??? Which would be near $1300 today??

Prices change/fluctuate, inflation changes, get use to it or otherwise you're going to be in a tough roller coaster every single time a new GPU releases. And stop pretending you know how much thing should cost. If you don't like the price of something: Don't buy it.

GTX 1060 3GB wasn't the best buy out there, but it ran games fine, especially for its target audience. And no way a 3050/60 wouldn't run a 6 year old game, even the most demanding 6 year old game, today.

I seriously have no idea what you are on, because your thought process seems to not even exist...And i don't mean that insultingly, i'm genuinely worried that what you wrote, made sense to you.

You realize there have been hundreds of people stalking nowinstock.net since launch who still havent been able to get one right. Or do you think everyone lives in your USA-subsidized European country.

Hell, I got my RTX 3080 but no game code, since Nvidia didnt give the retailer I bought it from, enough codes :(

So stuck in no mans land without a game code even though that Nvidia stated that when you buy a 3080 or 3090 card, you get a game code...
