I..... think I just bought a 3090. It was just randomly in stock for the first time that I've seen anywhere online since launch, and it was a good price. I do believe I just got one?
Thanks, Tyrchlis. It seems that GPU-Z monitoring generates some GPU load and keeps GPU clock at 210 MHz. MSI AB HW monitor has the same effect. But if there is no GPU load (even the smallest one) then I can observe GPU clock pattern 210 / 0 / 210 / 0 / 210 / 0 / 210 /...
Today was a big stock day no doubt about it. I just seem to have got in there but everything is sold out already. Pity, I really wanted the FE. I got a PNY. That said I don't think I'd have bought from Scan after their scalping.
Depends on the games a lot, but i'm beyond 2000MHz 95% of the time. Crysis 3 - 4K Ultra is between 2055-2115Mhz for instance. Latest Call of Duty 2100MHz..
I have Rtx 3090 Gaming Pro and 9700K stock. I have 17500 points in timespy graphic score which is low because on reviews i should be get 19.000+-. Powerplan is to balanced. WHen i change powerplan to fullperformance i am getting 19.000 points and its fine. I have newest nvidia drivers. Any ideas? In port royal i have 12.500 PC Aorus Z390 Pro Gaming 2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 9700K stock Seasonic 750W Ultra Titanium Plus Prime Windows 10 up to date no programs in background
Well your result on full performance look as expected, don't see your issue here. Balanced powerplan must seriously impact CPU performance? You can dive into the details of powerplan and check max cpu usage under the powerplan?
Marvellous. Retailer basically emailed me to tell me they're out of stock, so I don't have one after all. It said in bloody stock. Now it appears to have lied to me.
Ordered mine at 13:48, dispatched 19:48. I do feel sorry for people sitting in a huge queue who have seen unlisted FE cards suddenly become available without warning.
I bought a 3080 from scan launch day, Drove 108miles to pick it up. Got in there with my invoice and order number only to be told it was over allocated and my card had been sold.
My scores are normal with balanced power plan in: Unigine Superposition 1080P EXTREME ,12154pts<- normal, 3dmark extreme 23,500 gpu <--normal Only in timespy i have 1000 points gap between balanced vs max performance. During test cpu dropping random clocks in timespy on balanced. In max performance is steady 4600mhz so thats why i think i have lower score with balanced. In max performance i have 19000 gpu score +- in time spy. Games running ok with balanced. So nothing to worry? I have 9700K on stock
I bagged a 3090FE from Scan today too. Hopefully will go well with the HP Reverb G2 when that arrives. 3090 should be here tomorrow
Worst part of mine is I 'bought' one, and then literally watched like a sport the stock at CCL wind down slowly after they emailed me with notifications telling me of new stock. All the time, not realising I was getting nothing when I had opportunity to shop with them. PS I didn't buy from CCL.
So I just got my RTX 3090 FE that i ordered from bestbuy in. My stock boost clocks started at over 2000mhz after a mild overclock i'm sitting happy at 2205mhz on the core and 21ghz on the mem.
