Thank you very much!! I'll wait for the 1.1 version

After an OC profile is created, where is it saved? I had to do a reset of Windows and I wanted to restore the OC profile, but I am not sure where I should be looking.

    not a lucky 3900X.

    On mine I can keep CCX1 and CCX2 @ 4400 MHz while CCX3 and CCX4 are at 4200 MHz.

You also have quite a sample there! Same 3600 here. I've been playing around with frequencies and voltages and testing a lot with CB20.
Turned out not always the highest frequency and/or the lowest stable voltage yields the best results.

Yes, you have also a good one there
The only thing that i don't get it is why the cpu speed goes down when the pc is idle (which is good) but not the vcore. It stays on 1.25v

    Hi guys,
I followed all the steps, and my 3950x is classified as "gold". Then I start it and after a while Windows restart. No log ...
Using as MSI Unity x570 with latest bios.
    Any idea?

Honestly I don't know if that's possible, when using CTR. You can set an offset for voltage in the BIOS, but CTR overwrites that setup in Windows.
We were asking for multiple profiles to be available, so you could set up an untedvolted and a tuned one, and switch easily between them. I'm not sure this will already be included in the upcoming 1.1 patch.
Besides that, I assume you also have much better idle temps, than using factory PBO settings. At 1,2 or 1,25 volts, I'm at 30-35 degrees Celsius and not 55 C and 1.4 volts.

However I just noticed today a slightly higher chipset temperature when CTR is on, but did not investigate it yet.

Does anyone have higher chipset temps with CTR than with the factory settings?

I finally gave CTR try today for my 3900X but no matter what I do my system resets during the procedure. I've turned off PBO in Ryzen Master, do I have to turn it off in BIOS too? Also, do I change LLC for VDDRSOC at all or leave it on Auto?

My system is only air cooled (got the new Noctua NH-U12A) but I also wasn't getting temperatures above 49-51C on any CCX during the test as far as I could see.

I found the application from the LTT video, and it said LLC should be at 4 for Asus motherboards, but the guide that lead me to this thread said to put it at 3, so I have it on 3.

Or maybe I should simply wait until 1.1?

Edit: Got a pastebin of my log here: https://pastebin.com/VpCu814g
It seems my system just rebooted after Step 6, with CCX1 and CCX2 seeming stable at 4375 and 4350 MHz respectively, it tries to bring both CCX3 and CCX4 up from 4325 MHz to 4350 MHz, and can't handle it.

If you guys are struggling with lower than expected clocks, try to increase the reference voltage in CTR as long as you have a beefy cooler and you don't mind a bit higher power draw / temps.
While my R5 3600 did very well with CTR and it achieved higher clock speeds than PBO, my R5 3600XT got stuck at mediocre clocks when I used the referenced voltage supplied by CTR diagnostics. Thus I played with CTR a bit and I identified the sweet spot of 1335 mV which allowed me to run CCX1 at 4500 MHz and CCX2 at 4525 MHz. Prime95 small numbers would still crash but Boinc crunching runs fine and the temps are usually below 80°C under full load. OK, PBO on my 2 best cores boosts up to 4625 MHz here so with games, I stick with PBO but with core heavy workload, I go with CTR.

    Hmm 3500-3525 MHz at 1335 mV ?
A kind advice, would you consider changing or upgrading that cpu?
I benched 4425 MHz at 1275 mV and surely there are better models/results as well.

He does have a patreon you know, though he doesn’t promote it much.

Tons of respect for this man, both of his programs always worked fine for me.

    1,335 V is insanely high...
