GeForce 456.71 WHQL drivers: download & discussion

Sorry I didn't elaborate, I use HDMI and G-sync does not exist. I am back to 452.06 and everything is normal

 

Let me know if I can be of assistance somehow, seems it seems to happen on my PC quite regularly. I use a Google account with 2FA (so when I log with GFE I get a notification on the linked phone etc.), and then in that Google account there are 3 YT channels, I get to select one when i log in YT after I logged to Google).
I am using now the hotfix driver since it seems to be similar with the latest one, and it's still logged in for now. I'm unsure what causes it to get logged out as all happens in the background and it can be weeks until it occurs, you'll only notice it when you want to upload (or stream I assume).

 

Gsync in borderless window does not work on any games currently. This has been an issue for quite some time, anyone else experience the same?

 

Hey guys, since when GFE need some login to work? May be dumb question as I have 4 months now 2080s and had 1080 some 1 year a year ago, and never used TBH full driver so far.
And, if it is mandatory, worth anything to try?
BTW I have constant crashes in VR, any driver, since I switched to NV. Had 0 issues with radeon7, now Elite Dangerous or SWS lately crashes...randomly, after some period, sometimes at once, sometimes in middle of 30-40min game...

 

I've been using it without any trouble all year, so no, I'm not experiencing the same.

Whether to use GFE or not depends on if you need any of its features, it's an optional software.

 

I can confirm that there are several issues with this driver; many firsts if you will.

Chrome stops responding intermittently (black screen) and have had to force quit to get back to normal.

GFE has several issues:

1.) Streaming to YouTube does NOT work - it says "started" and then "failed" after a couple of seconds - this is happening ONLY with this driver.

2.) Logging out of Google account randomly - have to login manually from time to time which is very cumbersome. This has been happening for a LONG time so it's not a new issue.

Installed the WHQL over the Beta so GPU-Z still shows the flag as "Beta." Not sure if this is causing any issues but it is what it is.

This is on the Z490 rig with the RoG Strix RTX 2080 Ti.

 

I have a similar problem my screen goes black with the sound still playing. i have to turn my tv off and back on and it's back to normal. Never had a problem for years with nvidia drivers. This is with a 1060 6gb on a h270 board.

Spoke too soon. Seems like it was an input issue on my tv. Changed input and reinstalled current driver with no problems so far

 

is control panal actual included in the drivers now for DCH?

 

My RTX3080 crashed Shadow of the Tomb Raider when DLSS is enabled

 

em....where are all sensors that were before the WHQL version?
power limit and all the same

 

I think it is. I accidentally got the DCH version once a driver or two ago, and it did have the CP on Windows LTSC that has no store.

 

With my GTX970 and on the hotfix 456.71HF I have all the PCIe power values, seems your missing all the specific power types.

That's odd, I never used it but maybe try DDU.

and another problem - during the installation of drivers, at the time of installing the usb-c driver, the monitor writes "no signal" and no longer turns on.
only a reboot helps.
tested on different versions and this was not the case before.
