I'm new in all of this and i get this results and i want to know what are the best config for daily use.

    Diagnostic results:

    Energy efficient: 3.87
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor - Gold sample
    Recomended values for Overclocking:
    Reference frequency: 4399 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1262 mV
    Recomended values for Undervoolt:
    Reference frequency: 4250 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1175 mV
    AVX Light mode

    Reference frequency: 4399 MHz
    CCX delta: 25 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1262 mV
    Target voltage: 1262 mV

And the last test give me :

    Step# 5
    Sets overclocking parameters...

I use undervolt or oveclocked? And the Watt on OC is fine?

And how i set for undervolt!?

    Thanks! and greetings

When the 'diagnostic' part finishes and it gives you the above in the log it automatically puts the two 'Recomended values for Overclocking' into the relevant boxes in the settings section.
If you want to test the undervolt then you need to manually put the two 'Recomended values for Undervoolt' into the boxes instead and then hit 'Start' for it to test those settings.

In my case, all core overclocking combined with lower voltage yields higher clocks than with PBO with negative voltage offset for some reason. So frame render time in games is lower and more consistent as the clocks do not fluctuate.
The only thing that worries me is weird voltage readings in HWinfo (0 V vs 1.55 V).

    ah ! a PBO user !
can you please tell me if you experience the same thing I do here Wavetrex or if it's a threadripper specialty ? skip to 3min30 to see the "miracle" happen lol
edit: sorry about your dud...I have a 9900k that's like this, a boxed version and all,it barely reaches the 4.7ghz it's supposed to and if i try 5.0ghz all cores it'll go to 240watts and 100°C on a custom loop :/

long story short with ryzen master as my only comment says, used to test PBO, I've got this parallel universe thing where I've got higher scores than all stock settings, but with much lower temperatures and clocks o_O except idle is garbage, in this case idle has higher temps than a cinebench run wth
now it's not only that ryzen master is reporting wrong clocks (seems to often do) because aida64 and my HX1200i corsair "smart" psu wattage report the same thing lower clocks lower watts lower temps so it is happening

take the comment below as a rant or possible reality in our computer world :
all I can think of if some kind of "vw scandal" style shenanigans where cpus recognize benchmarks and behave differently when they run, something I have never heard any "pro-tuber/reviewer" talk about but which is clearly something that will exist if not for all for some benchmarks
I tuned cars for a few years before the vw emission scandal exploded I already knew car ECUs were heavily tweaked for emission control with weird values that shouldn't be there
either it's that or threadripper design or AMD have a potential they don't use properly
car owners might have heard of euroncap the safety test which is also untrustworthy as Mercedes years ago introduced a safety belt deployement feature which gave the car 5/5 euroncap at euroncap speed 55kph I believe but which would kill you from internal bleeding at 80kph because it would crush your internal organs, same thing...and the nurburgring lap records used as marketing to sell sportscar always "tweaked" too with non-production engines, suspensions settings etc...it's widely known in the car world that "benchmarks" are cheated why wouldn't they be in the computer world ?
just something to keep in mind and why I only trust my own gameplay experience in the games I have hundreds hours on

Yes, I also noticed Small FFT in manually run Prime95 causes almost instant crashes. I left the PC crunching BOINC data with no errors whatsoever so I just ignore Prime95 for the time being.

Critical error. Core tags are not defined correctly!
    You should read the guide.

I keep getting this error :C

Same for me with a 3800XT.

Yesterday it works for me before the update......

  10. Hi, I'm new here and just finally finished the diagnostics on my MSI B450M Mortar with R5 3600.

    - First problem I encountered as mentioned a couple of times in this thread:
Critical error. Core tags are not defined correctly!

Solution: see page 6 of the guide: 'If the kernel tags look incorrect, clear the System log and reboot the system.' This solved it for me.

    - 2nd problem: I needed to increase LLC (warning during diagnostics), had my MSI mobo set to mode 3 and had a crash & reboot around step #10.

    Solution
: Instead of figuring out the correct mode (checked this whole thread in the meantime), I just set it to Auto and diagnostics now completed successfully.

    Diagnostic results:
    Energy efficient: 3.47
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor - Silver sample
    Recomended values for Overclocking:
    Reference frequency: 4174 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1262 mV
    Recomended values for Undervoolt:
    Reference frequency: 4000 MHz
    Reference voltage: 1175 mV

I'm ready to start tuning now, pretty hyped! :)

    Newbie to all of this.
system is Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 with latest firmware
    CPU Ryzen 3600
All required software up to date
    Diagnostics keep giving:

    Diagnostic VID voltage: 1225 mV
    Stress test started! 09/30/2020 20:43:36
CPU Vdroop: -Infinity % CPU Temperature: 0°
There is a need to reduce LLC!
    Repeatedly

Ive tried both the recommended LLC settings
Not see any temperature readings at all so don't know how hot things are getting
Also why CPU Vdroop: -Infinity % ?

Hello, my lovely community. Sorry it took me a long time not to visit this topic. I will provide an update tonight.

To my regret, a bug that says about problems with core tagging (CPPC) was made by the motherboard manufacturer. Therefore a special version (CTR) will be provided which will ignore this problem. It will negatively affect the speed of tuning (3900 3900x 3900xt 3950x 3960x 3970x), but should not affect the final result.

Also check the settings in your BIOS.

    CPPC - Enabled
    Preferred cores - Enabled
    PSS - Enabled

Well, your is a wise advice, thank you but it didn’t answer my question

Is it possible to update the utility to beta 2 without losing the already (successfully) applied overclock/undervolt achieved with beta 1 ?

    Thank you ;)

I think the sample rating is just the power not what it can actually achieve with a manual overclock

I ran it multiple times and get different results each time ..

    Dear all,

Got better results with a little tweaking today, also better energy efficiency. :)
The hotfix version works fine as well.
Thanks again for providing this useful app.

Hey guys! I have a problem.
I follow all the steps of the turner clock successfully, setting the overclock to 4200 and consumption at 1.25. However, when I render with vray, the program closes or the computer restarts.

    What can it be?

    Thank you
