Hello everyone! I have a budget of 2500 - 3000 euro and looking for build suggestions please. I would like to wait for the RTX 3080 20GB though Thank you for your advice. Mainly gaming @ 4K and looking into high refresh screens at the moment too
With this budget, you can build almost any computer with the highest configuration for the time being. Well, you already have the monitor or the budget is also for the 4K monitor?
Thanks - I think she will let me away with adding the monitor on top (hopefully) I am just wondering I guess in relation should I be waiting for anything specific coming out? Like the SSD thing in PS5 but for PC if that is possible? Also things like the new AMD chips supposedly in a few weeks? RAM should now be DDR4 I guess? Been kinda out of the loop as such since building my last one 3/4 years ago
z490 mobo, i9 10900k, 4000+MHz ram, nvme drive The 11900k (when it's released) will fit in into z490 and give you gen4 pcie if you get a good mobo. 750 - 850w platinum psu. 3080 20gb Gigabyte has some very nice z490s.
Yes or you could put it together yourself and mostly use amazon, they have zero hassle return for 30 days. I just recently built mine and my first mobo, an asus one was doa, this is something you gotta expect when putting it together yourself. Wasn't a good mobo like one you linked to.
Matter of taste, mechanical keyboard and wired quality mouse is what i'd choose. Last week i got a SteelSeries Sensei Ten mouse, and waw it's so damn comfortable. Had my gigabyte keyboard for years, tough as nails.

Hmm, wanted to increase capacity but can you have a happy time loading games etc from this? https://www.overclockers.co.uk/wd-g...atacenter-hard-drive-wd121kryz-hd-54y-wd.html
Get a nvme drive, they slot into mobo, require no cables, and are fast as hell. Maybe a i7 10700k build instead of i9 10900k.

I have https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...-3.0-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-hd-23y-sa.html for main / OS drive so far
This is like the worst time to build. Wait for new AMD and Intel CPUs and for 3080 20gb and new AMD GPUs. If you really have to build now, and if gaming is important, grab a 10700k and a 3080. But you'll be kicking yourself in a few months for doing so.

11700k will be compatible with many z490, just got to check product page. btw i paid £40 for my case, what are you thinking?
Ive always paid >100 for the case with nice stuff inside, since I am older now and have some spare cash I thought I would go fancy
I was in the market for a 3080 couple weeks ago, i then got a great deal on a new 2080ti from the manufacturer through a well respected ebay outlet(with 30 day return). It's a great card too(arrived in generic msi box), i imagine you've a wee wait for a 20gb 3080, times are tough for a gpu right now.
