I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit? I talked nothing of "could be", I mentioned only the facts from the review.
Hey little boy adults are trying to have a convo here take your jealous clown ass and go troll somewhere else
My i7-4770K was not a great overclocker although to be fair I never had the patience to tweak and test it properly beyond a mild overclock. I had it overclocked to 4 GHz on 1.25 V (adaptive) and even 4.2 GHz for a while until my PC restarted once during a game, only once mind, and since then I've dropped it down to 3.9 GHz with 100% stability. I just set the CPU multiplier to 39 and set the adaptive voltage to 1.25V, set the XMP profile for my 1,600 MHz RAM and left it at that in the BIOS. According to CPU-Z the CPU is using 1.213 V when it hits 3.9 GHz. Apologies for going off-topic...
I ordered a 3090 asus strix oc. Hate me or don't, i don't mind. I plan to play on 165hz 2k for a while so this should defo last me quite a bit.
I can’t understand that people have negative comments on people buying a 3090. It’s much faster than a 2080ti and that was £1200. Other people blow that sort of money on a holiday which is over and just a memory after a week or two. People with negative views should look at the positive that it’s one less person after a 3080 so maybe a little quicker for them to get a 3080. I won’t be getting a 3090, hopefully a 3080, but I wish all 3090 owners well and enjoy that amazing card
Buying one will be a exercise in patience it would seem, waiting for the ASUS TUF Gaming to hit the stores hopefully before xmas
While the store wasn't shy of wiring the money today, i have absolutely zero visibility on when i'll receive the card.
I couldn't handle the stress of such a purchase, whenever i buy online i do whatever i can to get it earliest possible. I'd never pre-order without a solid date given, but here i am sitting on a 2080TI and here's you, done with your TI and already moved on to bigger /better things. Early bird gets the worm, and i hope yours exceeds expectations, that goes for all you guys /gals that bought one.
I am looking forward to all your reviews guys, I never buy on 1st release, I tend to read loads of reviews before picking my card and yet to see what AMD brings to the table too? so for me will be RTX3080 20Gb if they come RTX3090 24Gb 6900XT 16Gb
I find this odd too, do they bring out a 3080ti that sits between the 3080 and 3090 and seems kinda pointless. Or Do they bring out a 3080ti thats faster than the 3090 and piss off 3090 owners/kill their own sales.
These leaks contradict themselves. Gigabyte pretty much announced the 20GB version, so did Galax. Then someone found the 3080Ti strings in a driver.
I have no wife or kids and still could not afford one.....without paying for it for the rest of my life lol
I've preordered the 3090 strix OC... but as i preordered it 3 hours after launch, i suspect that i am quite far behind in the queue...
