Crypto are more and more used... it's a plague and an obligation at the same time.
But if you want a new GPU it is the start of a new nightmare... anyway i don't need a new GPU.

I sincerely hope there is a special section in Hell reserved just for Cryptominers...now again we will have to pay a hefty premium just to get a new card for gaming! Also i hope Ether and others drop to 0.0005$ a piece and all of them lose everything! Yes, I am raging...

That's why we need AMD to match the 3080 at 50$ less

Sincerly i think Nvidia should make the companies in the pictures made accountable for selling before the date.
Or just stop presenting those cards for gaming and do mining cards. Remove the video connection from them and do not pretend are targeted to gamers.

Well. I cant see no 3090 cards there so hopefully no inflated price there. Apart from the super inflated price of the 3090 in the first place... Thinking about it i am sure i paid £1200 for my 2080 TI FE card. So really for the perfomance of the 3090 sounds actually better value, once my 2080 TI is sold of course

NDA don't seem to mean a thing there.

 

Unless something changed I thought that X variant of GDDR memory was terrible at crypto currency mining that was the reason why miners didn't purchase any GDDR5X cards during the mining craze a while back.

Gigabyte did make Mining cards in the past. They did a 1060 variant that was geared towards mining there were no video ports on the back.

Lol here we go again.. Hope the people out there selling their primary cards for the upfront $$$ have a backup plan. I figured due to production limitations alone, wouldn't really be getting a 3080 or 3090 until January, but if mining comes into play as well.. It will be longer than that.
