    Nice find!

I'd also like to add: Epic Games is unlocking a NEW "Mystery Game" today in 6 hours. The last one was Grand Theft Auto V, so who knows what the new one will be!

"Sorry, you must have GWENT in your library to claim this free offer"

And install GOG Galaxy to do that.

    And then they want $1.49.

But when you click "Add to cart" it drops to $0.00

    It's confusing.

Boo, GoG Galaxy is required to claim Gwent and this offer. So much for that being optional...

I can only add it as a gift not for myself.

[edit] apparently i already had it they must have given the enhanced edition to owner automatically? What is the difference between enhanced edition and the original game?

Seeing as all the leaks pointed towards Civilization VI for the last week, my money is on Civilization VI. Oh wait, it is Civilization VI.

I don't know what's worse. Having to subscribe to GOG newsletter to get a 13 year old game for free... Or having to subscribe to nothing and getting GTA V and Civilization VI for free.

    Oh I know.

Yep, people are complaining about Epic giving away free games, saying they're an immoral company and they'll never touch them. Go figure.

    Why people would say that?

Epic games since years have very nice licensing for UE4, great for indie game creators and also their margins for the store are lower than the steam ones, they even give away nice free games.

A company is a company and they do what they do for the money, but they could be greedyer

Epic games have been forcing their development teams into prolongued 14-18 hour workday crunch periods ever since Fortnite became popular...so from what you'd occasionally see for a single player game that's on a deadline to basically EVERLASTING crunch. Stories have been coming out of Epic's studios, and usually not very good ones. And THAT'S how Epic games make their BILLIONS by keeping Fortnite and whatnot fresh 24-7. And that's what allows them to just throw games at us via the EGS.

Here's Jim Sterling's little summary of what Epic have been up to

Meh...I'm still waiting for that true sequel to Unreal TBH

I haven't thought about that point of view. It is shitty, I still won't stop getting the free games but now I know.

In general when something gets so hiper popular it ruins the party for someone else. It happens in music, in movies and of course in games too.

Ah but it's only EPIC's store, not EPIC's own games you tend to get for free there...so that's a grey area right there;)

You can also get the games for free, not install them and completely forget about even owning them...that's what probably 90%+ of EPIC's clientele does, anyway...

To say the true I have used the epic game store from the beginning, I work with UE4 and to use it you need to have it installed and to have an account, so even when I'm not an all day gamer it is my primary source of games. So I have played the majority of games they have given me for free. In fact they have some cool indie games available.

I reckon quite a few people bought Borderlands 3, Control, Metro: Exodus, AC: Odyssey... All these can be had between £13.99 and £17.49. They're as good prices as you'll ever see, anywhere, in the near future.
