They should be fine so long as the usersetting field is missing, but i can't say i'm 100% sure about it.

That is exactly (looks like anyway) what I got in Horizon Zero Dawn, that I referred to as extreme mouse lag. 5-10 minutes in, the first significant thing that happens, killed a large machine, and the second it hit the ground, the frame rate plummets and the mouse feels like it just disconnected from the graphics, like a car with at least one broken tie-rod (connects the wheel to the steering). I just "limped" to the nearest camp fire, saved and bailed. Back to 451.85, and all is normal again.

Hello guys, been facing a really strange issue that began today.

All AnvilNext games (AC Origins/Odyssey/Far Cry 5/New Dawn) are stuck in 100% gpu usage at 10 fps, switching resolution does nothing. I ddu'ed my driver and the same thing happens, I also restore a previous backup of Windows that I had (in which these games were running fine) lo and behold, the same issue popped up again.

It's really making me crazy. All games runs fine, only those specific Ubisoft games. I am on 2009 Build + Latest 452.06 driver. Did anyone experience the same thing?

Clean install did not fix it.

I noticed something weird, the temps are usually 62 to 66 degrees in these games (at boost overclocked clocks of GTX 1050 = 1962 Mhz), but now it's only 51 to 53, as if the games aren't really stressing the GPU, pegged at 100% usage but at 10-15 fps, lowering the resolution to 720p and low quality and still the same issue, increasing the resolution to 1080p does nothing too where normally it would kill the performance. It's only happening in Ubisoft games, anyone has an advice on how to remedy this situation?

Assuming you have it installed... have you tried uninstalling (yes, completely removing) Riva Tuner Statistics Server? Just listen, for me RTSS ruined the performance in Ubisoft games and even prevented some from booting (AC: Origins). Disabling RTSS does nothing as far as I'm concerned, or ending the background task, uninstalling was the only fix for me.

Does anyone have crashes with those drivers in Detroit: Become Human (Steam version)? I heard last stable drivers for it are 446.14?

Does this happen in both DX11 and DX12 mode?

Typically developer drivers are forked and not necessarily better for gaming. I would generally suggesting sticking to the latest Game Ready Driver. Our first R455 Game Ready Driver is slated for September 17th to coincide with the GeForce RTX 30 series launch.

My clocks (GTX 1080) are stuck at max again with these drivers.
