I swear he said the 3080 was the flagship followed by stating the price is $699. Also that the 3070 is faster than the 2080Ti at $499.

And there you have it. Nvidia went full mofo. I can afford this! Even RTX3070 is faster than RTX2080ti.

amazing marketing stunt by nvidia - they know people dont want to see the 1500usd price tag so they dont announce 3090 - then after months after people spent money on 3080 they will announce it...

Definitely better price than RTX. The 2070 launched at something very close to like 800$ CAD in Canada. 500$ means it should be under 700$ which is not too bad considering it will perform much better than 2070 did. Price is still high enough for me to wait to see what AMD will do though.
