https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...ts-Surface-Duo-smartphone-released-month.html Thats a crazy price and it still looks as bland/Fisher Price/unappetising as Windows 10, the association wont sit well. I wonder if they understand why their previous attempt didnt work out.
Wow, this design looks like something from 90th. Are they targeting elder people with it? And will it shutdown for an Windows update during emergency call ?
Microsoft, go home! You fooled me once, you will fool everyone once again. Sorry, couldn't help myself. They had a great hardware support from Nokia, but they failed to deliver on the app store and have a solid software ecosystem.
I spend $250-$300 max on a phone about every 3 years. This isn't for me. So they must be going after the premium iPhone market, which seems absurd. Is it April 1st?
Umm, what? It is Android OS on two screens. It is not a Windows Mobile OS, at all and therefore, you are basically saying Android is a Fisher Price interface.
So, Android is something from the 90's? Personally, I am not buying this because if I want to spend that kind of money, I will do more upgrades on my desktop computers, where it is worth it.
I'm guessing it's going to use the Microsoft Launcher? Never tried the launcher, but I know it's been around for awhile and people don't seem to hate it. (I'm also guessing they are going to fill it with all their office and corporate apps and push it as a business oriented device, à la Blackberry)
Yeah to be fair this did shock me like wait a minute are they tone-deaf to the market right now? Regarding the price. At that price point, they are arguing a better product than the rebooted Motorola Razer. Whoever came up with this strategy at MS is ... just making a mistake in my opinion. A terrible mistake. To the matter at hand. Microsoft Surface DUO is running Android 10 which is a smart move for MS; so kudos to whoever made that call that was a good call. Attempting to resurrect Windows Mobile would have been such a mistake.
Nope. not at all. It is Android OS and therefore, your point? So, you are saying Android is a Fisher Price interface? Edit: And no, no one is going to be associating Android 10 with Windows 10.
I didnt say it wasnt Android, I made no aspersions in that direction, only you did. I am saying it looks fisher price, because it does.
Nope, you are just trying your hardest to bash Microsoft but, this is not the product for that. Sure, you could bash the price but, not really any worse than anything else in that range. (Not going to spend that myself.) It is not associated with Windows 10 nor Fisher Price look, despite your opinion of it. Personally, I would not buy a phone from them because they let me down with killing off Windows Phone / Mobile. It is a folding phone though, we will have to see if it is any good for that, or not.
I watched a demo of it. Looks interesting. I like it. But I don't like it enough to spend $1,400 on it.
