I had it before this version. Tried it again after a clean 2004 install, with hardware accel on, it's bound to happen. All my display freezes and the audio of the video goes on for a while, until it stops too.

do you notice if the non paged memory value is increasing while watching? Assuming a possible VP9 memory leak that doesn't occur with h264 or hevc.

Pool exhaustion would behave as either a hang of the system the next time nvklddm or dxkrn tried to map more memory or a driver reset if it was directly in the nvumdx driver.

The fact only the two chromium browsers are doing it suggests something particular to chromes usage of the hardware decoder, iirc unlike firefox, chrome uses the low latency system decoders, but also recently Chrome started using Segment Heap memory management

I'm not having the descripted issues this post mentions. I never waited 15 minutes to see if it comes back though. No stutters, no janky inputs, never happened to me while gaming, no black screens. Just all screens freezing, the audio of youtube video goes on, then it stops after some time. And I can't do anything. No BSOD no nothing. When I disable hardware accel on chromium edge, doesn't happen.

Since I finished SotTR, I installed 451.85 again without any problems. Playing Jedi Fallen Order, Squad, Hell let Loose and Escape from Tarkov.

Does anyone, or even ManuelG have an answer as to why nvidia-smi does not report VRAM Usage per process on Windows as it does on Linux?

    well

1> SMI is not for Geforce gpus
2> Memory reporting for Graphics on Windows is a problem in general

    Well,
    1. It works on Linux, how am I supposed to know that SMI isn't supposed for GeForce GPUs?
    2. Fair enough.

Also, is there an issue with refresh rates on NVIDIA?

2004 reports differently to 1909 for some reason.

With this driver I have issues running a Youtube Video or a twitch stream on my second monitor.
After some time either video or stream begin to buffer/stutter.

Tried with HAGS on/off, browser HW acceleration on/off, nothing helped. It also happens in every browser from chrome to Firefox. Both monitors have same resolution and Hz. I even tried using the NV control panel to set VSYNC for specific browsers to ON.

Nothing helps. Any of you guys has a solution or anything I can try?
    GPU is a ROG-STRIX-RTX2070-O8G-GAMING

COD:MW is still dropping frames in heavy scenes with RT enabled, occasionally.

It's a known problem, but it doesn't look like anyone is doing anything about it.

There's a new Vulkan Beta Driver 451.98 but it's DCH for WIN10 only.
Runs pretty good but more than likely it's an older 451 with newer Vulkan Extensions, going off of Astyanax's descriptions of past VB drivers, unless he confirms otherwise.

Those adapters any good? I have that gpu and tv but concerned any framerate between 60 and 120 will just be stutter city without the VRR. Are there really any modern AAA games where you can maintain 120hz? I tend to get CPU bottlenecked before I can get there.

I used tiny gpu OC yesterday, mostly vram and so far so good in Destiny2, played crucible, iron banner, weekly public events and it survived.

From 1404 to 1418 and vram 150mhz offset. Last time when I had bios flashed 1418mhz it didnt want to play so nice.

anyway, No broccolli crashes, guess replacement mobo helped too or idk. I kept same psu, but i gave it a tough cleanout, had lots of dust in it.

Gonna try the same msi ab OC again today and see how it goes :d

EDIT: no, nvm, had to drop back gpu freq. to default 1404mhz, at stock volts.
    Vram is ok though.
