F1 2020 wasnt either in the changelog.

Maybe its already supported with profiles but its not mentioned in the release notes.

@JonasBeckman can tell us more if there are profiles for those games.

 

Nothing on Death Stranding in the Atiapfx.blb at least, nothing for Horizon Zero Dawn either for the other Decima engine game coming out in I think that's roughly two and a half week from now.
D3D12 API so hopefully nothing too problematic and for AMD besides lack of DLSS 2.0 upscaling there's nothing particularly NVAPI going on is there?
Suppose there's a possibility of some D3D stuff besides GameWorks same as from AMD's side with the AGS library and extension possibilities though but that shouldn't be too much of a concern.

Assuming of course that when the game unlocks (~1:30 hours standard Steam time?) there are no graphical glitches or stability issues on AMD GPU hardware.
Or problematic performance and what not.

Has anyone tested the new Win10 Update for 2004 (19041.388) ? It is out today and brings a few more fixes related to graphics&games... but of course they don't mention what it breaks (or at least - not fully admit as we are the true beta testers)...

IMPORTANT Starting in July 2020, all Windows Updates will disable the RemoteFX vGPU feature because of a security vulnerability. Once this feature is disabled, attempts to start virtual machines (VMs) will fail, and messages such as the following will appear:

• “The virtual machine cannot be started because all the RemoteFX-capable GPUs are disabled in Hyper-V Manager.”
• “The virtual machine cannot be started because the server has insufficient GPU resources.”

If you re-enable RemoteFX vGPU, a message similar to the following will appear:

• "We no longer support the RemoteFX 3D video adapter. If you are still using this adapter, you may become vulnerable to security risk. Learn more (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=213976)”

Windows Update Improvements

Microsoft has released an update directly to the Windows Update client to improve reliability. It is just a bugfix AFAIK

 

Think they will have WDDM 2,7 support?

 

It's not really that important but does someone also get these "Errors" in the Reliability Monitor caused by the "AMD External Events Service Module"?

Basically it seems like the process gets "killed" on shutdown sometimes. It doens't impact stability but it's not "nice" to have these messages in the List sometimes.

 

You can already get the new driver by doing some inspect element stuff to the AMD driver page download button (because they don't allow hotlinking). Just open up inspect element ont he download button and change 20.7.1 to 20.7.2 and the date to july14.
