I saw this Bostom Dynamics awhile back and thought to myself this group of people are headed towards the wrong direction with this creation. Their mind set doesn't seem in the positive side with their creations at all. Hopefully they get shut down sooner or later.
They are working on it. Fire and rescue, Bomb disposal unit, medi-vac for military etc. And i'm sure someday old folk$ will have Bots.
1st three, I did see before. Last one with robot slipping over banana peel is staged. (Entire standard operation of those robots is based on ability to balance. And they would not disable all motor function in moment unexpected shift of movement occurs.) I have seen videos with those robots, but made for military use, and those would not fall. If someone is afraid of something, it should be day when we create long lasting, lightweight energy source. As those robots used in labs can last only few hours on battery or use fuel generator and that needs refill too. Everyone knows what happens when we make 1500kg fusion generator... Laser Tanks. 500kg... general automated land vehicles with wheels. 250kg... robo helicopters. 50kg... massive walking/running quad/biped robots. 10kg... human sized biped... terminator.
