Hey all this is my first post and Im glad to be hear some people told me about this site and I was hesitant browed it, then joined. Thanks for reading my first post. Ok so I did research to find out the 3080 and not 3090 I believe is 26 percent faster then a 2080 Ti . That equals to a 200FPS game that is 26FPS. If we can concentrate on CPU and other parts... Its not ground breaking. It is to soon. Every 2 generations is the bg difference. I bet 40xx will say VR and 3D this and that. I advice 2080 owners to save the money and enjoy the triple digit FPSl be it 20 or 30fps less then a 3080. I still think 120fps locked at 4k is not reality. With all nVidia settings turned on and maxed out and game maxed out. There is no way a 3080 is playing smooth like butter compared to gamers choice now of 2k resolution. A bit of OCing and you donto have to buy every generation is my motto not when I was younger tho but you can't compare couple decades ago to now.
Thought the 3080 was the replacement for the 2080super, surely the 3090 is the upgrade from the 2080ti looking at the specs, the 3090 is one i after, until then will keep my 2080ti, not sure why they didn't just call it the 3080ti to save confusion
LOL... OP says 26% over 2080 Ti for 3080, and you're asking @SiMallV719 about ESP glasses price tag!!!?? he already screwed his friend with a golden 9900K @5.1 by persuading him to upgrade to 10900k while promising additional "200-300 MHz"
