A smart observation learns that AMD made a few changes in it's latest drivers. Among them a new feature where users fill a simple form to report bugs and crashes.... AMD Adds Option to report crashes in driver
From the article 'The new option opens a tool and grabs all your system's specifications automatically, information that you previously had to manually input every time you want to create a report for a bug.'
Thats a rather old addition actually, came with a driver prior to 20.5.1 (dunno which) and that link only opens the website and doesn't prefill any hardware info either. However, the latest driver for WSL support come with a tool that properly collects the data and you have to only fill in a lot less. Expect it in the 20.6.1 release: That driver can be found here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-wsl-support I think you confused those two drivers hilbert
I think by now we can safely assume there are fundamental issues with Navi and anyone buying one should be aware that you may be in for a horrible experience. Especially with Samsung monitors
Can't report a driver issue through this if your screen is completely blank due to the issue. "0 driver issues reported in this given period of time that we're not disclosing. We're the best." - AMD
I can't decide if this is hilariously or tragically ironic that this is considered news-worthy for AMD...
