Nvidia Geforce 455.38 DCH

Yea, Metro is smoother using 451.22, but these aren't that bad either, need to play some more with Adv. Physx = On..only real peeve is, this and 451.22, the start menu doesn't close immediately after launching an app, with another window open in the background.I have to click the back window for it to close, that doesn't happen with 446.14, but that driver triggers Bugtrap in Metro to throw Fatal Error CTD.
HAGS being utilized by both sets, only newer vs older branch is still a good reason for gamers to try them out on 2004.

Monster Hunter: World runs buttery smooth with these. I'm using DCH. No observable issues so far. I have had weird sound issues though where my sound resets to default in the control panel every time I turn off my AVR. But that's been the case for the last few drivers and I don't know if it's Nvidia or Microsoft.

Update : As well as Razer Synapse 2.0, dragging DisplayCal around the desktop moves in slow motion too. I reinstalled windowed 10 2004, and i could reproduce it after first boot.

 

i have tested another vulkan titles ,detroit become human and red dead redemption has Instant CTD .

 

I can reproduce RDR's CTD.

 

Dota 2 on vulkan mode will crash too

 

The vulkan crashes were an artifact of 450.99.

Hello, with v455.38 and Win10 Build 20150 the bug (game does not start) with Shadow of the Tomb Raider still exist if HAGS & DX12 is enabled. If I disable one of the two functions, the game is working. I have reported it already to Microsoft and nVidia (via formular).

v450.99 & 451.22 = Game stops at the Ansel hint and did not react anymore (Task-Manager -> kill SOTTR.exe)

v455.38 = Main menu is visible, but it crashes back to the desktop.

Can someone share the non-DCH version of the driver? Also is there a 'clean RTX' version of the driver similar to the one for 451.22?

both of these work just fine on 2004 with HAGS on, somethings not right with your rig.

 

Still not intended for 2004.

 

In that case i fully agree with you, i always use DDU before installing new DCH drivers to keep out of trouble
