also add no Hardware scheduling with new windows 2004 update... :facepalm:

 

I am yes, is this a known issue with build 2004?

p.s I have recently installed 451.22 and have no issues in build 2004. I find it hilarious that a "beta" driver is more stable than the official release.

 

Do you use Hardware Scheduling? Or you disable it?
How performance on Turing architecture with hardware accelerated GPU scheduling?

 

I currently have it enabled, I don't appear to notice any performance differences with it enabled. Its possible the games are performing better. I haven't seen any performance negatives with it on.

 

i dit gaming benchmarks and it was always the same results, 0% better performance off/on.
Still wonder if HAGS even do something currently or might be limited to 2D/Desktop Performance only.

 

Don't know in general but I had my share of crashes with games on build 2004 just exiting to desktop no warning at all plus some Green BSOD on top af that

 

Yeah thats whats been happening to me, I recommend 451.22 drivers, had no issues with them since installing them

 

Did you update from 1909 or go for a clean install?
Also installed all the latest drivers?
I'm back on 446.14 to avoid micro stutter in a few games, runs fine, no games crashed so far.

PS. If a BSOD is green isn't that a GSOD?

 

I think HAGS only does something when either CPU or GPU bottlenecks, but since current Nvidia driver releases don't have full official support added it probably does nothing on high end systems.

 

Yeah allready noticed it after I wrote it down no biggy for me too change it

clean install and tried every driver btw also on 446.14 still crashes with fortnite reinstalling the game atm just to make sure

Hi Manuel, it's already half past Aug...I've been suffering badly due to the limit of shader cache size. BattleField V, MassEffect Andromeda and Starwars Battlefront 2, each of them generates over 300 mb shader cache...every time I play one of these games after the other they will stutter badly for 5 to 10 minutes. My NV cache is on SN750 NVME, rtx2070 and i7 9750h, 32gb ddr4 2666 run in dual channel, OS is WIN10 2004. Please check with the Devs see if they are already working on this shader cache improvement.
