I see elevated black luminance on my LG C9 in HDR10 (both with Win10 and NVAPI). This wasn't present in the last few 450.xx previews (but it was there in early ones though).

Does anyone know why Divinity: Original Sin 2 locks to 10 FPS in gameplay with this driver. The weird thing is that it runs at normal uncapped framerates in the menus and on the title screen! This is the only game I have come across that exhibits this behaviour, everything else seems to run as with the 446.14 driver.

With D:OS2 I'm getting 18fps at the start but real fps is 60fps, strange stuff.

EDIT.: nevermind, I reset Afterburner settings to default and game shows 60fps now, so no issue here.

HAGS is locking the clockrate super low for this game

Is there even any PRO's for the HAGS or just turn it off?

I have 10fps even in title screen  that is with HAGS enabled, without it it's fine.

Divinity : Original Sin Enhanced Edition works fine though with HAGS enabled.

Same problem here.It happens only with uncapped fps. If i set half vsync problem goes away

Edit: Happens only on my laptop with RTX 2060

I'm not sure guys if u know, but this drivers 451.22 and 450.99 even if they have fancy wddm 2.7 gpu schedulling and about 5fps boost in vulkan games (tested rdr2)
they complete break the HDR support. There is no way to play games in proper output HDR (green screen issues, too dark image, washedout, and even non detecting sometimes) I tested the BF5,Modern Warfare 2019,RDR2
as unfortunetly its a no-go for me, but good news is that next driver should be the 450 branch with all fancy staff and probably fixed hdr.

I haven't had any freezes in Metro Exodus with 451.22 vs 450.99, HAGS On. Might be because I left the 2nd Caspian area, but who knows. Been 3 days with no freezing.
One interesting aspect of these drivers seem to be that if you listen to YT video in a browser, background while you play a game, the audio might have interruptions. Weird. Alt-TAB back to the browser and all goes away.

    i have vsync on.
the track "spar" is the easiest way to repro.

on other race tracks it takes longer or not so intensive.
But actually it happens everywhere, colors from cars etc. looking very strange e.g sometimes Red looks like Orange or Purple.
Or cars inventory is white instead of brown for new players it might looking normal for them.

I will try to find some workaround, perhaps some ingame Graphic setting is causing that

Forza Horizon 4 with the same Engine also had this bug with some Beta Driver if i remember correctly ( but have been fixed 1 year ago or so )

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Classic also runs fine on this driver with HAGS enabled. I don't get it. The Definitive Edition uses the same DX11 API and is enhanced over the original classic version but otherwise runs on the SAME engine as far I am aware. So why Classic runs at 165 fps and DE runs at 10 fps is something only the driver developers can answer? :-O

So it's looking like these aren't quite ready for every day usage? I tried 450.99 and ran into issues with Destiny 2 when trying to alt-tab most of the time it would come back with fps stuck at 5-10fps. Alt+Enter would sometimes fix it other times it would just lock up the driver with a Black Screen needing to just cut power to my PC. Anyone run into that issue on the 451.22 driver?

Rolled back to 446.14 for now and have been kinda leery about trying a newer wddm 2.7 again until they are pushed out of the developer section.

HDR is fine in this driver, if you go back through this and other 450 threads you'll see that while there was issues in the prior drivers, nothing such as what you're reporting ever occured.

it actually sounds like you're trying to use this driver on 1803.........

Because its missing in the standard package, nobody had put up feedback via the survey but i brought it up with Manuel so i believe a bug has been filed now.

classic can run on a gpu that never exited 2d clocks maybe?

anyone tried Prefer Max in the application profile?

    don't alt tab

It's a hack, no FSE application is designed with the usage of alt-tab in mind, if it works it works if it doesn't don't do it.

toggle to windowed with alt-enter instead
