• Improved reporting of advanced parameters on AMD Zen2-based CPUs/APUs.
• Added monitoring of advanced parameters on AMD Zen1-based CPUs/APUs.
• Added monitoring of C-State residency on AMD Zen CPUs/APUs.
• Fixed reporting of DIMM SPD information on Supermicro H11SS series.
• Added AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT.
• Added support of Aquacomputer Octo.
• Added ability to use simple formulas (including other sensor values) for custom sensors. See here for more details.

i dont know if this is the right place to ask, but i need some help.
i have 3 sensors on my mobo that i can put where i want, but i cant find them in HWINFO..

is there a trick to enable custom sensors? i have teh sabertoth z87 that came with 3 sensor cables wich can be placed whereever it be needed..

any tips or advices are greatly welcome..

Can you see the sensors working in your bios?

 

Likely only viewable in the bios or try AISuite3

 

well, AIDA64 can pick them up with no problem.. i would guess HWINFO can do so too..

 

You might find what you need under configure sensors(bottom right)/custom tab.

 

There are 2 links...one for 7.4 and one for a beta, the link worked fine for me

 

New version crashes on HDD scanning for me ( I have over 30 drives connected to the computer )

It used to work before (albeit it takes a while to start)

 

Hahaha and my brother told me I'm hoarder, 30 drives my god, that's a lot hahaha, I got 13 or 15 drives in total although I don't monitor them in HWiNFO

I have issues only with HWiNFO lately memory leak which I think is connected to Ampere GPU?

Please send me the HWiNFO Debug File and I'll check why it crashes.

Yeah, there was a known memory leak in NVIDIA drivers some time ago, though not sure whether it was fixed. Using the latest HWiNFO version + disabling NVML support should mitigate it (if it wasn't fixed by NV yet).

 

Meanwhile I uninstalled and reinstalled it and also rebooted the PC and it seems to start now. Who knows... glitches in the Matrix ?

strange behavior here, won't launch in sensor only mode and 64 bit mode... v7.02 and 7.03 beta worked fine

bare in mind, latest versions have shared memory support disabled by default.
