edit: nevermind, i just installed full thing over 450.99 dch and its dch.

 

Odd, I just installed from the first GTX version link (https://mega.nz/file/rkh0mA5D#H1_2dHg_hDwH1UU1yCwdd8qk69Az6EdhB1Oosyh7b44) and mine was Standard, which is what I prefer anyway.

 

Is 451.22 a continuation of 450.99? can be updated?

 

Vulkan driver is old 1.2.133 compared to 1.2.140 of the vulkan beta driver. Not good if you want to use async in CEMU emulator.

 

Windows keeps reinstalling its version over 451.22. GTX drivers.

I can't think of any driver I would need automatic updates for, most of the time Windows installs some old or completely wrong drivers making my external hardware useless.
Which means I have to turn of the devices, uninstall drivers, delete them manually from the driverstore and then turn the driver updates off before reinstalling, besides keeping it that way so it won't happen again.

Slightly better than 450.99 with my setup, around 1-3% in games, but not as good as 446.14 which performs better than both, on my end the current 45x drivers also introduce micro stuttering with some games, some from start others after alt tabbing.
Oh, and 451.22 did not have any issues with YouTube videos, 450.99 did add an odd line in about center of the videos when my mouse was hovering over the control area.

450.99 benchmarked very well for me, hav enot noticed 'stuttering' - I am on GTX1080ti

RTX 2080 Super.
It's probably not all games, just the ones I play most atm.
As example Mafia 3 stutters right when loaded in save game and WoW Classic when alt tabbing.
Ran all 3DMark tests with each set, 446.16 scores best followed by 451.22 and then 450.99, noticed when inspecting the results that 451.22 had slightly higher clocks on CPU and GPU, the other two drivers where identical.

Not quite sure how NZXT CAM polls for GPU load, but it could be what causes the stuttering or input lag when nothing or null comes in return, or just by that it polls in a way it shouldn't, since GPU-Z works just fine and I bet MSI Afterburner does it right as well.

You can block driver installs for specific hardware too. Can do it with GPEDIT.MSC or just go straight to the registry:

Change the "PCI\\VEN_10DE&DEV_1C02&SUBSYS_8C951462" to your graphics card's hardware ID (or whatever else you want Microsoft to leave the @#$% alone!).
