Spam bot. Account also posted under a separate topic it created. Both double posts were like 15 minutes apart between that other topic and this one. Thankfully there was not a third set of the same garbage.

Another article, this time from OCC, on Ryzen ram scaling.
    https://www.overclockersclub.com/guides/ryzen_memory_scaling/

After achieving the tightest timings I could at a given speed just for the ability to say that I did it, switched focus on achieving the best performance at a given voltage. Nothing magical about 1.38v just not willing to pump out anything more. Gaming results have not suffered one bit. All intents and purposes, it reinforces what all the articles have stated and what has been previously stated here in this thread; for gaming, money is better spent on a better GPU than higher frequency ram.

^ Very interesting information. Noticed that all ASUS, ASRock, and MSI MAX X470 boards all had 32MB Bios chips. Not a single Gigabyte X570 board has a 32MB bios chip. Since X570 does not support first gen Ryzens, makes one wonder why AMD took the initial stance they did. Not very many people must be aware of that spreadsheet. Not a single X570 board has T-topology for memory. All are daisy-chain.

The Ryzen 7 3800XT which is an 8-core/16-thread processor has been spotted in the “Ashes of the Singularity” (AotS) benchmark, by hardware leaker @rogame.

AMD Responds to Allegations of Ryzen Power Reporting Deviation Reducing CPU Life

AMD on Thursday posted its first official response to reports that the deviation in power reporting by the CPU VRM controller to a Ryzen processor against its actual power delivery may be shortening processor lifespan,
sparked by HWInfo introducing the "Power Reporting Deviation" sensor.

"We are aware of the reports claiming that select motherboards may be under-reporting certain power telemetry data that could alter the performance and/or behavior of AMD Ryzen processors under certain conditions.
We are looking into the accuracy of these reports,"
    the response begins.

AMD also clarified that Ryzen processors aren't dictated entirely by the power telemetry from VRM controllers.

"We want to be clear with our customers: AMD Ryzen processors contain a diverse array of internal safeguards that operate independently of external data sources.
These safeguards enforce the safety and reliability of the processor during stock operation.

Based on our initial assessment, we do not believe that altering external telemetry in the manner described by those public reports would have a material impact on the longevity or safety of a user's processor."

AMD's response also suggests that the company isn't aware of power reporting deviation or at least the extent to which motherboard manufacturers rely on tricking the external power telemetry setup to send more power to processors,
in a bid to notch ahead in stock performance or overclocking headroom.

Happy I bought cheap MSI Motherboard, always a BIOS to play with first and they have simple easy BIOS that works for me.

Those things better boost to what they are supposed to and do it without tweaking.

Asus has released Beta bios for some x370 chipset motherboards namely Crosshair VI extreme / Crosshair VI hero and last Crosshair VI ( wi-fi ).
More information and download links posted by my friend Shamino here:

    https://www.overclock.net/forum/11-...og-crosshair-vi-overclocking-thread-4492.html

Beta Bios means not fully tested , update at your own risk. ( make sure you update the right Bios to the correct mobo )

Lately one of my "bad" cores on my 3700X has been boosting to 4.4. I've not had a BIOS update on this board in over 6 months. I wonder if the latest Windows update is doing it?
