Current Build: (from 2016) i5 6500 G1 m7 sniper mobo Corsair Vengeance lpx 2400mHz 8GB R9 380 nitro 4gb with backplate TT BM1 500W Transcend 256 gb nvme m.2 Toshiba 1TB I Want to Upgrade to AMD build.. Can you guys give me a budget gaming build? Recommend the parts need to be changed..
Depends on how much you want to pay? If you want to change to an amd system. I recommend the following specs. Ryzen 5 3600 Amd B550 Mobo (Cheaper but Coming Soon) or X570 mobo (Expensive, but available now) A 3600Mhz DDR4 16GB Kit Possibly a new psu - depends on how old your psu. But i feel 500w might not be enough if you decided to put in a beefier gpu for example 5700xt or 2070 super
For gaming, keep an eye for Intel upcoming Comet Lake, especially 10700KF. It might do better job for gaming than AMD Zen2. Also, depending on your video settings and resolution in games, you might want to upgrade your GPU first.
Yes.. total AMD system.. I bought it recently.. Tharmaltek BM1 500W.. it's true that i can only use up to 2060 gpu.. but I think i would need more time to buy a higher gpu. Should I wait for ryzen 4? 3600 currently overpriced because of corona (extra 2k+) So i guess.. ryzen 3600 is a better for upcoming how many years? Like my intel is still beast.. doing great but can't perform like ryzen now Thank you @Hyderz
