Will this harm my gpu even more?

 

i say this, NOT every GPU is the same (ASIC QUALITY), so in the end you have to test it yourself.. Start lower and work your way up in little steps..

And also dont just copy someones OC, it might work, it might not, like i sayd, all GPU´s are different. In the end you allways have to make your OWN OC that is stable and cool enough for your Card.

Also, he does not really OC, he posted a tutorial so the GPU does not Downclock during games to prevent stutter.. i quote:

RX 5700 XT X gaming only a few games 8i have problems with might just wait for a driver

 

What kind of problems? In what games? A 5700 XT should handle anything you throw at it.

Well an overclock really won't make a difference in any older games, most likely just driver issues.

 

would work i guess ive just got rx5700xt but using asus gpu tweak as it controls the fans as well i do like the idea he has but means using a hell of alot of power if it cant downclock

 

Overclocking won't help with old games.

And yeah, never just copy anyone's overclock, work in small steps towards a target if you have one.
