I beat observor_ and it was the best game I played in 2019. The theme is great expecially the cyberpunk theme, and it is also very scary. I beat the game in 12 and a half hours which I think is good. Anyone play the game and beat it yet?. It has to be one of the best games to come out in a long time. The graphics are great and also the story. It has a great atmosphere which was great, very cyberpunk.
I played it like a month ago. Was pretty decent but some of the mind levels where way too long imo. But I enjoyed it overall. Also didn't like that you couldn't change fov, that game was clearly made for a tv not a monitor.
Played it on release and to completion, liked it very much. But yeah you must use .ini tweaks to change FOV. I also disabled chromatic aberration and film grain, much better experience. I got the feeling this game was initially designed for VR.
The game was great and I am gonna play it again but this time I will play it at night time, might be more scary. Anyone know if observor_ will have a sequel?.
I found some good articles about observor_ 2 which sounds like it will come out soon. https://www.pcgamer.com/observer-2-is-likely-bloober-teams-next-game/ https://www.polygon.com/2020/1/23/21078514/observer-2-teaser-release-date-bloober-team
Yeah you couldn't increase it much but even a slight improvement to the default tunnel vision made a difference. And disabling CA and film grain. I get the artistic choice behind them but the game as is almost gave me a headache.
