    Just Cause 4 on EPIC is plagued with a API-MS-Win-core-file-l2-1-0.dll is missing error. Grab it but don't waste downloading it just yet.

    Not likely. 10 includes that dll by default.

    7 and 8 users get it with the UCRT update.

    Think you mean api-ms-win-core-synch-ansi-l1-1-0.dll, which is indeed not available.


    that said, EGS version is not compatible iwth 7 and 8 period due to the lack of

    api-ms-win-core-console-l2-1-0.dll
    api-ms-win-core-io-l1-1-1.dll
    api-ms-win-core-kernel32-legacy-l1-1-0.dll
    api-ms-win-core-kernel32-legacy-l1-1-1.dll
