NVIDIA DirectX Ultimate Developer Preview Driver [450.82]

I don't have Sharpening.

 

Damn guys, 1 reported he's missing sharpening and a reply was "did you clean install?" - what didn't follow? A reply saying "I used DDU and still don't have sharpening". What do we get instead? 3 replies "no sharpening"....

 

Its there for me, are you meaning the setting is not there, or sharpening is not working?

 

Settings is not there, you have a Pascal Graphic card or?
i also dit clean install but still gone for me

 

Did you guys use DDU or no?

 

i dit in Windows Safe mode, restarted to normal mode and installed the Driver.
First time i installed the driver with Selectet "Clean install" and second time with DDU.
But still no Sharpening

Sharpening might be temporal disabled for Turing Cards?

Im on 2004( 19041.207 )

 

Its a l10n issue, the package only has sharpening present in the English language, i've forwarded your screenshot to Manuel @GiveMe

Same here. Installed the Standard version, Windows safe mode, DDU (with no ethernet cabel connected).
I do not got the option to use sharpening, i got an English version of Windows10.

Running Windows10 Pro Insider 19608.200410-1438 (fast ring).

Nvidia 2080ti.

 

This driver is for 19041, anything could be wrong with the fast ring builds.

Show the Help > system information > components tab, scrolled down to the NVCPL components.

 

same as mine, is nvcuda also listed as unknown?

also, when you hover over c:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Display\nvdispsr.dll does the bubble that appears call it "Nvidia UK English language resource library"?

 

In case anyone really needs the sharpening, install the previous 450.xx driver and dirty install .82 over it. I'm German and I still have the sharpening in the CP using that method.

 

Mine says unavailable.

HKR,"FTS",EnableRID74712,%REG_DWORD%,1 is missing from the driver inf in 450.82, this is why sharpening is present with a dirty install,

you can apply this via a elevated regedit if you like.
