My GPU cooler just started yesterday, suddenly, to run very fast, I didn't play or something
I opened it, checked if there is dust, it looks clean
I installed Windows again but as soon as the OS starts, the cooler starts again to run fast
It doesn't matter if it's the Nvidia driver or the Windows 10 default WDDM driver
    In BIOS is quiet.
Could you please help me with this ?
What else should I try ?
Some people with the same issue didn't have a chance for RMA because the GPU " is working fine "
    That's weird
Thank you very much, in advance

You haven't given us any information to help you.

What GPU are you using? What is your room temperature? Did you try monitoring GPU temperature? ETc...

What temps are being reported by card? Are you using a custom fan curve? What apps you using to monitor gpu or OC with?

Temps are fine. I don't use any custom fan curve.
The GPU isn't loading anything " heavy "
I think there is a hardware issue

    I did another try :
I switched the button on the GPU, from P to LQ Mod , its very quiet, now. Like it was it before
Is it safe to leave it like this ? Even when I'm gaming - heavy load ??
    THANK YOU

So, that seems to be the GPU's "quiet mode", the other side should be P, which means "performance". With the Q bios, fans will not even spin at all until the core hits 55 C. That's why it sounds better lol.

Tried some heavy load ( games ) and after the coolers start spinning, after I turn off the game, they won't stop, they are still loud

Have you reached out to ASUS support via email or forums to see if there are updated BIOS files? Other than that, have you physically checked that the cooler is making proper contact with the card?

I called ASUS yesterday, they will send me an email
I'm not sure how to check if the cooler is making proper contact with the card
Could you please give some details?
    Thank you

Honestly if that's something you can't comfortably do yourself with some googling, you should send it to them. They should easily tighten it up for you if needed, the benefits of getting new hardware.

Would you recommend to open the card and have a look inside ( cables - coolers, etc ) ?

Can't hurt, though you said you cleaned the card right? So i would assume those things are good.

ASUS asked me to send a video with sound, I did

They said " the grafic card is working fine "

That means, no RMA. That's weird. I paid for it 1300 euro, last year - sommer

In this case, all I can do is, to open it and see what I can do

    Any advices are welcome.

    Thank you

My problem was the original thermal paste dry up on my Aorus 2080ti xtreme and the fans were noisy. I reapply the thermal paste and pads the noisy fan problem is gone.
