    That's the point, it's just a phone so to be able to shoot the moon without it just looking like a white dot is pretty amazing

    No it's not amazing.
    It still looks like a white dot, just a bigger, very blurry white dot.

    At least attach one of those telephoto accessories to your phone... that might give it a little chance to actually look like the moon.

    First deep sky imaging session in like over 4 months (with the bushfires and now rain/storm in Australia the last few months clear nights are hard to come by); had a brief few hours of clear skies the last couple of nights.

    Roughly 3 hours total imaging time short in suburban Bortle 5 sky:

    Attempted this last year but the tide was high so was not able to get close to the rock; perfect conditions this time around

    Quite happy with the amount of Milky Way detail I was able to extract from Bortle 4 light pollution
