Grab for free: Assassins Creed Syndicate from Epic Games Store (from Thursday)

Never really got into this series. I liked Black Flag only because of the pirate gameplay.

 

this one is not the best one... but it's free, this is the best argument to get it.

 

Grey and muddy London. What a great setting for an AC game.

 

Love Syndicate, it got all the collecting stuff that i like to do perfect, and it was a very nice looking game, so that's now will 43 free game is have on the epic account, another 40 free games and i will have 10% of my steam account games on this epic account.......for nothing.......come on Epic, you can do it. lol

 

Is this the one where you only use your fists? Like Sleeping Dogs?

 

also a club or pistol but i found the melee fights too a.nnoying. takes 3 minutes to dance around several guys until everybody is down. never completed this.
Although i really liked London itself.

 

One of my favorites. Great graphics for its day. I ran duel 960s 4g and i had a great experience. I wouldnt use the epic store

 

played the first AC it was eh, didnt bother to beat it till I bought AC2, never finished AC2 cause i just didnt get into it, have few other AC free threw ubisoft, I will get this cause it free probably never play even if I break down and install epicgames client,, Also wanted kingdom come : deliverance and probably wont play that cause I wont install client,


I seriously despise the path the on for PC where ever publisher every company want to do there olwn client and own user pass just to log in to play our games if it all in one centralized place like steam I dont care, but path we on its gona be like 50+ user/pass for our game collection, this why certian people i know only want physical disks and none of this log in stuff. took more then decade to get them to start using steam. at lest in centralized place we dont have to work problems of in active accounts and problems that can happen cause you most likely be logined weekly if not daily and will know when something bad happens tou your account vs have to keep on on 50+ cause of this crazy we currently have. I get compaines want more control of there games they publish but this all gona be come inconvenient to end user at some point. and some people are there already

 

I've never really gotten into the AC games but I never pass up a free game. One more for the collection!

 

free is great play said free game another question, I still have game I bought on steam I have yet to even install or play, Damn skyrim and now Nioh I keep going back to them

 

Would rather it being free on the developers platform than having to deal with a that silly launcher.

Btw do they have a shopping cart yet?

 

I think that's the same for most people. I've collected dozens of cheap or free games while playing a single game for years.

It's a launcher. It's as silly as any other launcher. Do you play the launcher? No.

EDIT ... oh the launcher is 3 clicks of a mouse extra .. wtf ....some people :/

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but like with any other Ubisoft game on any other storefront, it still requires you to activate it on Uplay. So just activate it once, and then just play it through Uplay directly, and don't bother with Epic.

 

If I am not mistaken, I think the new free game becomes available either 11 am or 12 noon EST.

A bit confused. Epic launcher just downloaded and installed 40GB worth of stuff, then now when I launch the game it loads UPlay launcher to download another 38GB.
