Atomic Heart, the sci-fi acid-trip compared to BioShock and Fallout, has received a new trailer showing off its brand of strangeness. ... Atomic Heart - gameplay teaser
Looks like it's being played on PlayStation, 6 mins. in there's a square icon to pick up the weapon. I'm looking forward to trying this not sober
The game looks really bad imo. Maybe it's the lighting? Bloom is heavy exaggerated too. That aside, one could say it resembles other games but it has new ideas and I'm sure it will be fun, if they fix the graphics.
It runs on 7 year old consoles... no wonder it looks like a 7 year old game essentially. Low poly and object count (at least in the 10m. gameplay trailer), the effects look all but fresh etc., but it has to run on that old potato nonetheless... And I doubt it will look much better on the PC tbh. Classic example of console vs pc graphics topic.
The first video (before HH updated it to the latest teaser) featured Pre-Alpha gameplay on a PS4 Pro and is therefore hardly represents what we'll get on PC when the game is released. I've seen the RTX teaser and it looks like they've done a good job with that.
Finally something that's actually different. Doesn't mean the game is going to be good, but at least the studio is showing some creativity. I hardly ever buy games anymore because they don't do anything especially interesting. At least, not for PC anyway.
Definitely! We don't want games to go the same way as the vast majority of current 'music'. I'd rather take a chance and play/reward something that breaks the mould than suffer another COD etc etc. Well done Mundfish for doing something different.
I'm really hoping that this game will get released. It's been on my Steam wishlist ever since Hilbert introduced it here on Guru3D - back in 2018.
