General changes, improvements, and fixes for PC The build watermark at the lower right-hand corner of the desktop is no longer present in this build. This doesn’t mean we’re done… We fixed an issue resulting in an increased number of Insiders experiencing rollbacks (error code 0xc1900101) when upgrading to recent builds. We fixed an issue from recent builds that could result in a crash when trying to log into a secondary account on your device. We fixed an issue when using the Japanese IME in certain Office apps that could result in the candidate window not appearing when using reconversion. We fixed an issue that could result in win32 apps experiencing an unexpected increase in CPU usage if left idle after having opened the Common File Dialog. Known issues BattlEye and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues due to changes in the operating system between some Insider Preview builds and certain versions of BattlEye anti-cheat software. To safeguard Insiders who might have these versions installed on their PC, we have applied a compatibility hold on these devices from being offered affected builds of Windows Insider Preview. See this article for details. We’re looking into reports of the update process hanging for extended periods of time when attempting to install a new build. We’re looking into reports of certain external USB 3.0 drives not responding with Start Code 10 after they’re attached. We’re looking into reports of the Optimize Drives Control Panel incorrectly reporting that optimization has never run on some devices. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsex...ncing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-19041/

If Microsoft do not classify BattlEye and anti-cheat engines as spyware/virus, I will never be insider higher than release preview. It is a joke. Multiplayer/Online gamers who are crying because of hackers/cheaters, should get a real life of their own at last. They should turn into console gaming or play single player games only. They cannot ruin our gaming as insiders because we are few and they are more. I am irritated with this thing years now.
Well it should be out around April - May 2020 which then shifts to a yearly release cycle for builds but I wouldn't expect the finished build before probably late March if there's no additional delays unless Microsoft is trying to push this build for a earlier 2020 launch. 19000 something and whatever the .xxx end numbers will be since there's generally one or two cumulative updates for insiders before the full launch though there should be various posts and leaks when things are nearing completion with this build unless something unexpected pops up and Microsoft issues a new build instead of resolving it via cumulative updates. EDIT: Ah and then 19500 must be the start of the 2021 builds, I see that topic now a bit further down. Maybe things actually are winding down for bugfix mode here then and a launch for early on in the new year if they're going to stick with a yearly cycle of Windows 10 build updates from now.
That rollback isn't fixed. Multiple people report it fails after first reboot.. Doesn't even make it to the boot logo. Instant reboot and sometimes messes up the boot process to the point system gets stuck in boot loop bsod. I had to reinstall the system because of it. How the hell does Microsoft manage to fu@@@ up OS so much
Available on Windows Update: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version Next (10.0.19041.21) (KB4535550) https://blogs.windows.com/windowsex...ider-preview-build-19041-21-to-the-slow-ring/
So far this build working great, no issues & games run a little better (Windows 10 x64 Build 10.0.19041.21) with Nvidia Driver 450.12
LMAO Warlord. Why are you spreading misinfo? Games for the most part work fine with insider builds. Also, for the record, even PUBG works. However, to upgrade your insider build where BattlEye is installed, you might need to do a clean boot first.
So is anyone of you able to play Rainbow Six Siege on 20H1 builds? The setup-assistant still links me to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb...insider-preview-builds-on-devices-with-certai - so I might have to remove BattlEye using the uninstaller, upgrade to 20H1 and then install BattlEye again?
Official Microsoft ISOs released for this build https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewadvanced
.113 is out now for this. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsex...der-preview-build-19041-113-to-the-slow-ring/ EDIT: Looks like the Defrag UI still points to action required after running but it should be a display glitch only and nothing further, issues around installing .NET 3.5 seem resolved from what I can find and overall it looks to be in fairly good shape with another cumulative or two likely before the full launch for April - May 2020 EDIT: This follows the deployment of build 19041.84 https://blogs.windows.com/windowsex...ws-10-insider-preview-build-19041-84-to-wsus/ Which same as this is 19041.1 with a cumulative, doesn't seem like there's going to be any new builds and instead it's a lengthier testing period and updating of the existing build with various stages of deployment until the full launch for Windows 10 20H1 / 2004.
