looks like he fixed an issue i reported

you previously could not import a txt list that included modifications of existing nvidia profiles (changes to exes for pathing or removing wildcards), it would throw an error, because it would parse each profile as it imported them instead of importing them in bulk and reloading the list.

He's all out of open issues now, so most likely there won't be another update for a while.

There's some nice changes, such as adding the new CFR SLI mode.

Just a note to see this, and the new Nvidia Framerate Limiter, you need the updated CustomSettingNames.xml file which hasn't been included in the recent release downloads linked above, but can be grabbed here:

The new settings show up fine without the extra download.

Weird, not for me, and the release 'nvidiaprofileinspector.zip' on Github doesn't contain it -- they're found in the updated CustomSettingsNames.xml file, which was updated 8 hrs ago at time of writing.

Note the new framerate limiter is called 'Framerate Limiter V3'. If yours says just 'Framerate Limiter', that's the old V1/V2.

 

Yup, I see V3 just fine.

 

Where did you download the package from? Perhaps I'm missing something.

I just redownloaded it to make sure, and its still there.

 

The same I linked above That zip file doesn't contain the updated CustomSettingsNames.xml So... not sure what you're seeing without it. Do you also have the CFR for SLI setting?

 

"SLI CFR Mode" is there yes. Would you like me to make a video of me extracting the zip file and opening the program lol

The settings are defined in CustomSettingNames.xml, which is not present in that archive.

Edit:
Ahh I figured it out -- I overwrite old installations. If an CustomSettingsNames.xml is present, then it loads this, even if its older (presumably as a way to update settings without needing to release a new .exe). Newer versions appear to have this built-in. For anyone else with the same issue the file needs to be absent, or manually updated as above.

The profile inspector has the CustomSettingsNames.xml embedded now, you dont need that file anymore in your folder unless you want to make your own modifications.
You can also export the embedded CustomSettingsNames.xml by running "nvidiaProfileInspector.exe -createCSN" ;-)
