Fact is, i can't minimize red dead 2. All it does is show the taskbar but the game window stays maxed on full gpu load, just like borderless. There is no way i can switch to the desktop and actually minimze the game. I don't have this problem in any other dx12 or vulkan game. Here's the hitman 2 launcher. There are three fullscreen options for dx12: Borderless, fullscreen and exclusive fullscreen and exclusive fullscreen performs better than the other two. How come? Only relevant to the D3D11 renderer, https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/sample-application-for-direct3d-12-flip-model-swap-chains I have not seen VK_EXT_full_screen_exclusive appear in any windows drivers apart from 425 vk developer.
grabbed it on sale threw it on mechanical hd, will move it when the SSD get in, but runs decent, looks decent sofar. still in the tutorial so lots and lots of snow.
EDIT:A month later all I can find is $25 USD ebay.I may bite at this price.As long as it not one of those offline steam things.

With my experience yes, and that was before the new patch today. It sometimes crashed immediately when I run it but its quick and easy to have another go. Once loaded it works flawlessly for me. edit damn, it crashes every time I run it now, I cant play it at all. So I revise my report to a big NO !
I just got the game $8 USD Ultimate edition with offline account ,downloading 108.7GB,even cheaper than I was willing to pay $15 bucks back in Oct 2019. Hey it's the internet,I am not dead lol .Just poking fun.
So? You only got an offline account which will stop working soon, problems guaranteed. Most of these sellers wont activate it again and then you paid what, 8 bucks for a few days, tops, to be able to play? yikes...
The game is fine now, I don't have crashes anymore. Between the patches, the nvidia driver and resolving some issues with my OC it seems very stable. I can play for hours with no slowdown or crashes.
Yes this is correct,I only want to play the game once and never again.Hell I may not even play it at all with all the problems I been reading with the game. So I would rather pay $8 USD to play a game instead of $100 for ultimate edition and not playing because I do not like it. Makes perfect sense to me,I do not see a downside here.
