Is "HD Audio" necessary to install? I'd thought I read somewhere awhile back that the Nvidia audio driver wasn't necessary since Windows already has its own and that having both could cause problems (the post in question claimed stuttering or worse perf iirc, but I could be misremembering or just flat out wrong of course).

Only if you need sound through your display cable I suspect.

You can use MS supplied driver. In fact the NV one is known for latency issues.

Nvidia GeForce Experience has an error when started, even though I selected both GeForce entries in the slimming program. Also selected were:

    Core Display Driver
    Install Core
    HD Audio
    Physx

'Something went wrong. Try rebooting your PC then launch GeForce Experience.

    Error code: 0x0003'

Can someone explain what I'm doing incorrectly?

    @uKER

    Great work, guru :)
    --------------------
It would be great if after repacking, the temp files (generated in %temp% folder) can be deleted after repacking. There're 2 folders of ~0.5 gig each.
Only suggesting, guru. [if can be implemented in future update]
    Thank you again.
    Nice work.

Disabling some components of GeForce Experience can cause the app to not work correctly and thus it will not load.

How to enable the Nvidia Control Panel (which options do I need)

Note I'm using on DCH version of the package... for RTX 2060 notebook

    OK
Found that you need NvContainer for the NVidia control panel to work

Unless something is different for DCH version, you only need Core display driver and Install Core. Installing Optimus support is probably a good idea since he's using a notebook. Not even PhysX is required (though needed for some games to function properly), NvContainer isn't needed for Control Panel too.

You install Core, and it grabs NVCP from Store.
