So recently after working fine since January. My computer started shutting down under heavy load. When I installed the PSU I’ve noticed 1 square pin missing for supplying the cpu but googled and people said it was fine. And it worked fine no problems until now. When I went to PC part picker website and did my build it gave me this message:

The Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard has an additional 4-pin ATX power connector but the Cooler Master VSM 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply does not. This connector is used to supply additional 12V current to the motherboard. While the system will likely still run without it, higher current demands such as extreme overclocking or large video card current draws may require it.

Is this likely the problem with my PC shutdowns?

I doubt your CPU ( reaching max temp)...under load
check cooler...and monitor your cpu temp.....and have a look..

    -------------------------------
    Is the cpu overclocked?
    If yes, reset...to default clocks
    ...RAM speed also
    -------------------------------
Try re-seating CPU...and check mobo shorting with case

Have you tried looking at your windows logs for any errors?
