Hello all. Im about to order a gpu for my fresh build I5 9600k Msi z390i 16gb corsair 3200mhz ddr4 Ram Corsair h80i v2 watercooling Corsair rx750i. Lg 27gl850-b 27" monitor Ive been looking all over the web for some specs 2070s vs 2080s but cant really find anything use full. The price in Denmark are ( Today) Msi trio 2070s 708,46 $ Msi trio 2080s 968,18 $ So allmost 260 $ diffence is it worth it. Or will the 2070s do fine also in the nearest future Thanks for your time
Dont know what the conversion rate is but it seems a bit steep for both not just the difference between the two.
Lots of comparison videos on YouTube. Get the most you can afford. I have an Asus ROG 2070S and love it. Great gpu's.
If your playing on a 1080-1440p monitor, 2070 does a good job. Over that, 2080 is better. It also depends on what fps you want. Im having ha hard time recommending 2080 over 2070 because of the higher cost if the extra performance isnt something you need. I got a regular 2080, before that i had a 2070. The 2070 was a decent chip. But it didnt like resolution higher than 1440p, So, ineeded the extra grunt a 2080 has. Im playing on a 4k monitor, i was close to getting the 2080ti. Both rtx cards iv tried wasnt super, there was a low stock and the super costed 100-200usd more than the one i got. If you find a regular 2080 for ok price i would buy that. You can easyli oc it to the same performance super card has. So, look for a decent priced non super 2080 if possible. Or maybe consider a 1080ti for the right price.
