It does look nice. The question is, does it actually play nice?

Looking forward to this, I really enjoy big open world games and this looks to have good action / storyline from the console reviews.

I wonder if my GFX 970 might have met it's match, been waiting for AIB 5700XT prices to stabilise

Hilbert, could you add this to your game tests for new video cards if possible and it fits in with your other tests? Alternatively just a one off test as you often do, that would be appreciated. :)

Really thinking about where to get this.

Steam would be the first choice but if this means that Rockstar Launcher also has to open and run in the background then maybe it's a bit pointless. Does anyone know if R*L is required?

Really does look amazing and should allow my 3900X/2080Ti to stretch it's legs. I know a few people on PS4 who think it's a brilliant game, so will have to try it out for myself. Shame it needs a separate launch, would prefer to keep it in Steam/Origin.

From what I've read, it's arriving on Steam in December but only on Rockstar Launcher (maybe Epic Games Store) on release.

gta 5 port was good so i am hopeful this will be also.

in a lot major releases Hilbert releasing a performance review of the games considering how high profile and how anticipated this game is ... i bet he is already planning one ! ;) i might be wrong though :p

The question was : is the Rockstar Launcher required to be loaded in the background even if one buys the game on Steam?

Looks amazing. Quite nice of Rockstar to give PC players an enhanced edition for
I dont think it will. the launcher is a download client nothing more. the social thing will be installed ofcourse, since its a integral part of the game. So basicly just like GTA5.

Looks amazing. Is there a list of what exactly the PC enhancements are over consoles? So I could stick the list in noses of console friends faces...

Don't forget, the FiveM developers are going to be working on RedM for mods as well.

There's a lot of potential, but likely it will never be realized. MS hasn't even done much with cross play between Windows and Xbox on their own games yet. With a few notable exceptions where they devs have taken the matter up on their own (i.e. Rocket League), Sony just plain isn't interested, so that door is probably never going to open.
