The outfit of your character Edit: found it : https://guides.gamepressure.com/control/guide.asp?ID=51402
Even on max, the LOD in the game is pretty crappy. Move the character far away from an object and say hello to shitty low res textures.
Enjoyed the Ashtray Maze mission with a Ahti cassette player, “Take Control” Btw, @XenthorX after seeing your link i went and got the new outfit, looks nice. Spoiler https://i.**********/DyPSdD07/Untitled.png
Had a feeling this pretentious X-files episode turned into a video game would not be for me. Horrible gunplay, using destructible environments in combat, meh.. having to read every stupid cryptic message for something of value, poor pacing, uninteresting enemies, jeezuz what an over-hyped mess. Gloomy atmosphere and feel for the place along with uninteresting story didnt help either. Remedy games, NEVER AGAIN. (didnt like Alan Wake, which should have served as a warning).
Control was average but far from bad. I've had fun with it. Gunplay was good, graphics was amazing and story is decent. I loved the connection with Alan Wake and waiting for some dlcs. Each to their own.
While everyone is allowed their opinion, if you didn't like Alan Wake... I'm not sure why you would even bother with Control. Or, really, any Remedy game. They have a pretty distinct style, and it's not something they are going to change any time soon. At least not while Sam Lake is in charge, and I'm grateful for that.
Control was awesome after they fixed there graphic problems.Maybe one of the most fun games I played in years, besides the mess of Kingdom Come Deliverance fun.
What graphics problem? I only waited them to disable motion blur so i can continue playing. Game was working fine.
The patch fixed the noise in the game on textures, ray traced indirect diffuse lighting was also fixed. Example:Restart for all resolutions, continuous recording on shadowplay and restart of game between resolution change for anyone interested. 3840x2160 native resolution scale 3840x2160 + 4xMsaa 1920x1080 resolution scale 3840x2160 3840x2160 native resolution scale DLSS 2560x1440
Sorry for the late reply. But yes, I have been able to play it. And it's everything I ever wanted. Absolutely love it, it's Remedy through and through... and is a strong contender for my favorite game this year. And, with one of the future expansions focusing on Alan Wake... I'm beyond thrilled.
I still hope for an Alan Wake 2. Once Control becomes non exclusive, I'm buying the complete collection.
I tested DLSS 960P on new monitor Aorus AD27QD and its looks better. Somebody said that DLSS 960P in Control looks like Nintendo 64 game. But i dont agree. So what you think guys play 1440P dlss -->960P or just 1440P with rtx medium? I have 2080 Ti Waterforce AOrus
But when i am playing on 1440P native with DLSS 960P i can run RTX ON and its always 60 fps.or better
If your using dlss then its 960p downscale not native 1440p which looks miles sharper and better. Use native 1440p with rtx on and lets see what that 1300$ gpu can do. If it cant handle it then tell yourself your card not capable of raytracing and nvidia is playing tricks on you.
Sorry but 35-45fps during heavy fights are too low for me. Its on native 1440P with all raytracing on I want full smooth 60 fps. So thats why i ask. Also DLSS 960P looking nice new monitor bring that on.
Ok i manage to get 60 fps and above during heavy fights. ! Resolution 1440P render 1080P . Looking almost like 1440P with this and its pretty smooth with all RTX ON.
