yea if the demo gfx are close to what we saw? LOL yea i would say 32 is a typo.

 

It's already been updated.
Now says it requires/recommends 16 gigs.

 

I see.. 32Gb... lightsabers must be physically simulated.
They figured out the Lightsaber technology and run a simulation live.

 

So they updated it? Damn, my PC was flexing its 32GB quad channel DDR4-3400 CL15 CR1 muscles!

 

Yeah you must have been thinking "these 32gb's will finally be useful", hehe.

 

I think I never saw on my PC more than 11-12 GB of ram used in a game, so 32 is ridiculous lol.

 

Visual studio/Unreal engine 4/ Chrome with 10 tabs including some netflix and all, i'm at 22Gb of Ram used all the time.
Biggest part being chrome by far

 

Lots of good stuff in this. This game could turn out to one of the year's biggest surprises.

Sure has been a while since I've looked forward to an EA game. Cautiously optimistic on this one.

 

Yeah, I have to admit this is true!

I don't think 32GB of RAM will be useful until the next generation of consoles arrives, which should have at least 16GB or more of unified memory. Since PCs have discrete memory pools, it will definitely be advantageous to have 32GB of memory for the next gen as the PC requires larger pools of memory to buffer the VRAM and minimize storage access for smooth gaming.

 

A lot of metroidvenia elements and platforming... awesome. That's why we all love SW games, PLATFORMING!

 

Wow, this sounds exactly like the Star Wars game I've been dying to play!

 

looks more like tomb raider style parkour stuff than metroid side scrolling platforming.

but i am old skool.

 

Not me. I can't imagine why it would be interesting to play a game that does not conform to its own logic; specifically light sabers.

These fantasy/mythical objects of enormous power for some unknown reason, require lots of hits/strikes and parries to down an enemy...why? Light sabers can hack off limbs, melt metal and burn the very atomic structure of time and space...yet they appear to be (in this game) no more effective than a sword...or a spear, perhaps.
