Geforce Game Ready Driver 436.30 Download & Discussion

There is newer version from NGX drivers 1.4.0.7 from other drivers so any reason not to use this one ?

 

Some games I need to use 1440p for performance reasons. I like using integer scaling as it makes many older games look better but games like League of Legends and Blair Witch are displayed in a small window on my 4k TV (LG B6) meaning I need to use either 1080p or 4k to get full screen (or I just switch back to aspect ratio). Is there a work around for this ?

 

the ngx version must match the driver or DLSS can break.

 

Also Blair Witch performance is awful, lots of stuttering and hitching - Worst performing unreal engine game I ever seen on my hardware - is there anything Nvidia can do for performance ? I guess this is software related.

I have tried 4K / 1440p, changing gfx options and still its poor.

It's not NVIDIAs fault, the game is unoptimized as hell.

My 2080 Ti`s fans are ramping up to 4000 RPM while playing Gears 5. It's really loud and it's the only game that is doing this.... I don`t really know if it`s a driver bug....

 

Just tried it, no difference at all.

 

Witcher 3 is stuttering for me. Apex has much more better performance. Tomb raider till 19 % never freezes, just had one stutter. Forza is not freezing at all. Gtx 1070

 

Do these drivers still cause DX12 DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG crashes with Shadow/Rise of the Tomb Raider?

Forza 7 still crashes to desktop with an added bonus of a dissapeared mouse cursor !! (no issues on 431.70)
Win10x64, GTX1080.

 

Can you share more details? Is your card overclocked? How do you repro? ANy specific tracks? Are you running any utilities in the background that show an overlay in the game? Are you Alt-Tabbing in the game? Did you reboot your PC after installing the new driver?

 

Nothing.. Just like the older driver

Nvidia freestyle just wont work, it ask me to restart the game again and again and nothing woks

Also cannot use interger scaler, when i select it, it just reverts, i'm in a OLED E6

2080TI GamingX Trio

 

Gainward GTX1080 GLH, no overclocking.
Clean install, rebooted, Custom race 3 laps Hockenheimring in rain/thunderclouds 24 cars, Nothing else running in background, no Alt-Tabbing.
Game ran smooth as butter before CTD.
Crashed before finishing race, Im back to 431.70 now with no issues.
Will try repro tomorrow when i get time.

*Ok ive just tried again with 436.30, managed to do 3 races (all different tracks & Weather)
CTD after 3rd race (in the award menu's)
Same as 436.15 for me.

 

weird as it list the Division 2 dx12 crash but ive been using dx12 for weeks now and it doesn't crash anymore.

I really thought it had been fixed
