Mott's Super Stable SLIM Special Edition Driver Thread (431.70 WHQL)

It seems to me that there are a lot of issues with the newer drivers these days so I decided to make a SLIM version (no bloat - only the driver, physx, and hdaudio) of what seems to be the most agreed upon best driver version as of late for those who want a smaller, debloated version. There was demand from my friends for this file as they have all been having issues with later driver releases and I thought I might as well make it available on here if I am going to be hosting it anyways.

Please let me know if this is something the community wants and I will try and update it when there is an agreed upon excellent driver. This thread should not be updated very often as I want to capture the very best drivers which seem to come along every few months, if that.

This is made from the nVidia Studio WHQL 431.70 Driver for Windows 10 x64. I have been gaming on it since it came out and not a single crash, hiccup, stutter, or the like while all my games run perfectly. I hope this driver is as good for you as it has been for me.

What are these lots of issues?

 

I've read about memory leaks and a couple of other confirmed issues that I don't recall the specifics. All my friends with non 20xx series cards (that would be all of them) have had crashing and otherwise odd behaviour with any driver newer than this one. I have had about 7 friends ask about driver issues so far and once they ran DDU and installed this package their issues vanished plus they had slightly better performance. From everything I have read and all the reports from forum goers and friends, it seemed that these drivers are what would be termed a 'golden driver' so I thought why not preserve them in SLIM form for everyone to use if needs be.

I assume it's because the driver archive doesn't include that specific driver version (as It's a studio driver). Hence why @Mott made this.

i would have used the Windows update version of 431.70 tbh, so it wasn't locked to pascal/turing.

 

I'm yet to find all these issues you're talking about....

Nobody has published the cabinet
I only know it exists because people with 600-900 have received it.

Are they better?

 

They support all supported geforce cards instead of just pascal and turing.
