up on the top left of the app, click file > preferences. make sure its running the maximum amount of threads. if its not click on the check box that says custom and just set it to its max. If that doesnt work you could check your power settings in windows and make sure its running at max performance. If not press ctrl+shift+esc to open up task manager, go over to the details tab and right click cinebench and go to priority and mess around with that, i think its set to below normal on default.

Well got it to run with all 8c/16t and scored 2826. But i have programs running in background at the time so it seems legit. Alot better the 15xx i got before.

Latest BIOS and updated May Win 10. Too bad I didn't run this test before I updated everything. Is Cinebench known to be effected by the various security patches for Intel? My results seem to indicate that performance is perfectly fine.

P.S: okay okay, I'm barely pushing it. non-delid.5G's@1.25 or 1.26-1.28v with 4k+ 32gb ram. running AIO now. must find time for my loop. ;)

You and your amazing golden 8700k!!! grrrrr :p

DStealth buddy, I've been meaning to ask. What volts it needs for 5G's? Just curious if can extrapolate any OC potential based on what yours needs for that vs what mine needs if I finally delid or push more volts.

No idea, never tested it such low :) Probably sub 1.2v for 5G...Just assuming as for 5.2-5.3 it needs sub 1.3v

I didn't feel like changing my OC, so I did some math. I've got pretty much the same CPU, at 5 GHZ I get a score of ~4050.

    4.7GHz is 6% away from 5.0GHz
So from this we can infer that your score should be around 6% lower than mine since CB scales well with speed and cores.
When we compare our scores, the percentage difference should ideally be 6%. If it is, then the difference in speed is 0%.

    3751 cb is 7.4% away from 4050
Which is a difference of 1.4% (7.4%-6%), nothing to get upset over, easily down to run-to-run variance and how CB treats core speed. You're around where you should be.

I was mostly curious to see if CB is that scalable, and it seems it is.
Try running CB in High priority, and don't ignore your RAM speed.

I did run it in high priority and the above is what I scored. Ram speed is 3200mhz. I suppose it is where it should be, wish I could clock this cpu higher. My cooling is a bit lacking so I am pretty happy with 4.7 for now ;)
