The windows 10 driver is only applicable to 10, there is no 8 backwards compatibility.


Fixed Issues :

• [Forza Motorsport 7]: There is corruption on the tracks in the game. [2682129]
• System crash occurs while installing the drivers on a system with GPUs from mixed architectures; for example, Fermi and Pascal. [2676468]

Open Issues :

• [Tom Clancy's The Division II]: The game may crash when played in DirectX 12 mode. [2587043/200406322]
• [Overwatch]: The games crashes with "Your rendering device has been lost" error. [2482278]
• [Firefox][G-SYNC]: When G-SYNC is enabled, flickering occurs with YouTube full-screen video playback on FireFox when hovering over the timeline. [200544130]
  • To work around, either
    • Set the refresh rate to 60 or 120 Hz (or any refresh rate divisible by 60), or
    • If you want to play full-screen videos with Firefox on a G-SYNC monitor, create a profile and set it to VSync-On.

This one has been with us for quite some time now

 

So just play it in DX11? There is literally no difference visually.

 

GOW4 feedback is looking good!

 

It's one of the few games which gains noticeable performance boost by choosing DX12 over DX11.

 

Control looks very interesting. A very comprehensive ray tracing implementation. To get ~60 FPS+ with Ray Tracing High (all settings turned on) on my RTX 2070, I had to use 1080p, no MSAA, textures on Ultra and Texture Filtering on High, all other settings medium.
Most settings max out at 'high', and most settings look similar to medium. So I feel the performance is actually very good. And ray tracing makes a striking look in this game, very noticeable. Gonna leave it on.
There are two downfalls here though. The denoiser is not doing enough to get rid RT artifacts. Faces from a couple feet away look very shimmery for example.
And DLSS is useless. Extremely blurry. It looks better simply changing the internal resolution. Even without using a sharpen filter, DLSS looks REALLY bad here.

 

DLSS needs a couple more weeks of quality passes.

 

Anyone tried deleting the telemetry file _DisplayDriverRAS.dll and checked if the control panel is working with this driver?

 

These drivers gave me around 15 to 20 more FPS in control.

Im getting noticeably lower performance with this on Total War Warhammer 2

So nice ad 1920-1080 by 1920-1080
Everything on MAX also RTX on MAX
65 FPS no problems ad all.
It looks great Never ever seen something like this before The game is beautiful i love it.

Do not let them tel you about the huge frame drops or stuttering! NO nothing ad all
Just everything on MAX on a low end RTX card

You can always lower some settings of course if you like.
It dos not need to be all on MAX if you like more FPS then 65

Good story and nice game play and the dog is afraid of the sounds LOL
