Thanks for the great reply, that spot looks phenomenal .Now all you have to do is plan a trip to the Atacama Desert in Chile and see how good a shot you can get from there. That would be even more awesome.

Thanks for sharing ,your photos should get more reaction,I have enjoyed the photos for years .

Thanks for the very kind words @gerardfraser!

I would love to visit South America one day, I've got photog mates that just came back from Patagonia and their images are making me green with envy.

  7. Omg this is beautiful! It's not "picture I/you took" though, but i am all about stars and stuff. I like imagining that we were born 1000 years later and are exploring space lol

I wouldn't say proud.. I have no knowledge at all about photography, but I kind of like this shot. Taken with an old Samsung S5 neo in Helsinki Finland.

A wider field Antares from me again...this time to include Blue Horsehead Nebula

Should've been an easy one but ended up taking many nights due to expected bad weather and also didn't realise my internal zoom 70-200 lens somehow had a bit of zoom creep which was what wrecked my other frames from other nights...

This alone took me about 8 hours all up last night from setting up to capturing to integration to final edit

From my weekend at the Grampians in Victoria, Australia. Weather was rubbish 90% of the time with rain/overcast/low hanging clouds which lead to missing out on spots I wanted to go but the compromises came out alright.

You clearly need a better camera/lens if you want to take pictures of the moon... a phone just doesn't cut it, doesn't matter how much "zoom" it advertises.
