It wasn't, T4 is the only Turing Tesla so far and the T10 is already a thing back i the GT200 days, so diffentiate it with T10-8.

Theres been 8 generations of Tesla and all parts have had a highest end version so far.

No prizes for guessing correctly that they'll keep 'refreshing' where they think justified.
The 30% more performance that I currently have puts me at the 2080Ti. In the very recent past, the price difference for such an upgrade used to be affordable/palatable. I ain't dropping >>1000 for any gfx card to get me that increase! It's a pitty Ngreedia is still trying hard to maintain this ludicrous price bar. I honestly hope, for sanity's sake, the majority of folk who are able to buy these are still not!!

It can't be more expensive than the 2080Ti can it? I mean 1400€ for a card...

This could just be a "fully working" 2080ti with more cores and full memory bus.
This could be a titan rtx just with half of the memory removed to have the same amount as the 2080ti, but still with the better GPU.
It does not really matter if they call it Super or Titan the essence is the same.

Full TU102 dies are used in Quadros and Titan RTX already. There is no objective reason to cannibalize either unless they sell poorly and they are going for mere rebrand as there is no extra feature lock present in 2080 Ti vs RTX Titan.
In that case there is good chance that it will not be fully unlocked, but something in between 2080 Ti and RTX Titan.

And question is, will it have 12GB of VRAM therefore full 96ROPs or 11GB with 88ROPs?

it doesn't make sense for it to be a Geforce part, nvidia's core numbering is more like TU10x-xxx(y)

If so, then they must be expecting AMD to come out with something close to the 2080ti in performance, ie 5800, etc. There is not much business sense for them to do it otherwise. They definitely can do it, but again, it will be more likely timed with what AMD may be doing.

Fully working TU102 die used in RTX gaming GPU is exact definition of cannibalization of RTX Titan card. That's like $1000 loss right there.
What TDP/Performance? I can lower performance by 10% and have card at 135W.
In other words, 1.8X performance of 5700 XT at 270W with double die size.
In case of HBM use, both power values and achievable performance will be better as even 5700 XT is memory bandwidth limited and therefore given final clock is not exactly efficient.

Having faster memory, 5700 XT could likely perform 10% better at same TBP.

Once more for less quipped individuals.

You have fully working TU102 chip. You can either put it in gaming GPU and sell it with 12GB of VRAM for $1400. Or you can put it into Titan RTX, equip it with 24GB of VRAM and sell it for $2500.

Does it start to click already?

1400 or 2500€ is not an option for gaming gpu.

Great, I'll save one € and hopefully get 10% more performance.

Even if it was an RTX gaming card, which I still doubt, nobody in their right mind would buy it now tbh... save the money for next year's product unless you don't plan to grab it then.
