That's a touchy subject. I will say yes and no.

 

Our million air customer who was know for tipping hundreds. I got a 2k tip and there's too much to tell right now. I'll get back to you guys.

 

Craziest accident you've seen while on graveyard shift.

 

Hopefully relevant questions:
¤ Has anyone barfed in your cab?
¤ Have people been so drunk that they needed to open the window and keep their head outside for air?
¤ Has anyone not paid for their ride? (just ran off)
¤ Do customers ask you to play their favorite music and then themselves max out the volume?
¤ Has anyone left anything of value in your cab?
¤ Has there been a group of people so large that they had to sit on each others laps and/or sit in the trunk?
¤ Has anyone been so drunk that you felt you could charge more for the ride than necessary since they wouldn't notice it anyway?
¤ Has anyone just randomly opened the cab door from inside in the middle of the street or while the cab is moving?

Around here only if there is a seatbelt for you do you ride. If they let more than that ride they can lose their license.

 

I don't think I saw any actually since there was barely any traffic during my hours.

Seatbelts, lol. If I had to enforce that law I wouldn't have lasted a week.

I didn't say they forced people to wear them but if they get caught with more people than seat belts they get fined and possibly lose their license.They're pretty strict here we don't even allow Uber or Lyft yet.

 

Uber and Lyft are garbage. They're stealing money from the crab drivers.

 

I wouldn't say they are garbage, they give the opportunity for people to work their own hours as a means of extra income and some folks just do it full time and plus you can use your own vehicle (if applicable), but hey there is always something/someone out there stealing peoples jobs.

What do you do now or still a cabby?

 

Ever have someone jump in the cab and say "follow that car" ? If so, what happened?

Depends. If someone jumps in the cab wielding a knife and tells you to follow a car.. do you do it?

You either risk your own life and tell them to gtfo, or endanger someone else and follow the car. Decisions.

 

It's not worth the money. You've got to have full coverage insurance and a class D license. I made 5x what an uber driver would make.

Me actually. On of my nights off I jumped in a fellow driver's cab and followed this chick to her house. Damn I woke up the next morning feeling rough.

 

If I get time to do it, I will take some pics (all directions, so you can't say they parked behind me) as proof.
